Mabel is a Chicago native who finds herself jobless due to budget cuts and homeless thanks to her cheating ex. After sleeping on her best friend's couch for a bit, Mabel discovers she's inherited a house in Savannah, Georgia from her beloved grandmother.

With nothing to lose except her pride and possibly her mind, Mabel sets out for a new adventure––a fresh start at a library in the heart of Savannah's historic district.

The problem? Things don't go as planned. No one at the library will give Mabel a chance––no matter how hard she tries is discouraging. Getting framed for murder by one of those same employees, well, that's beyond the pale.

Did not like virtual voice

Story line was intriguing.   virtual voice was a distraction from the story, it was very flat with wrong intonation in the speech
