Vasantha had been a daughter, a father's pet all her life. This is the story of Vasantha who entered into a marital relationship about 20 years ago only to forget her own identity as a human. Yet, the story of Vasantha is not an urge to be recognized as a human but an assertion of her identity. Vasantha's journey as a human being is replete with various encounters with humans. She understands the trick to swim against the tide. In the end, Vasantha writes a letter to her daughter: 'There comes a day when a woman realizes that she's a human too.
