Publisher's Summary

There are special forces. There are US Navy SEALs. There is the select and secretive group of highly trained operators known as SEAL Team Six, or MOB VI as they like to call it.

And then there is Justin Sheffield.

When it comes to talking about the most experienced, effective, and deadly warriors in the world, Sheffield is part of an exclusive group that can be counted on one hand. None have served on more combat operations - more than 1,000. None have taken out more enemies of America and freedom around the globe. None who still draw breath have paid a greater physical and emotional price for serving their country. MOB VI is a volume unlike any seen before.

This audiobook is uncompromising, raw, violent, and real. It is the story of today's most elite warrior - a patriot who fights for his country at the apex of the war against evil and a vulnerable man of faith who continues to battle demons within.

I really enjoyed the detail in the story telling, but I also loved how much he spoke of Lord Jesus Christ

Epic

Excellent narration by the author, maybe he can read other books :-) Whirlwind tour from enlistment to Mob VI and post combat life. Lots of action, brotherhood and some cold truths. Recommended.

War, as told by Joe Dirt

I've listened to lots of books about SF operators, but I never cease to be amazed by what they do. I'm also humbled by the toll it takes on them personally. Sheffield has an amazing story to tell, and I was torn on how to rate the performance. It very much reminded me of Joe Dirt narrating his life story to Dennis Miller. He's clearly not a professional voice-over actor, but I always appreciate when the spoken word comes from the author. Overall, definitely worth a listen.

As unfiltered as it gets.

Loved the narration, style, the radio calls for situational awareness. Everything really. Found it amusing the contrast between the reliogisity of the author and his disregard for the lives taken. Almost as if the author belonged to a grimmer time in history but understandable nonetheless due to the nature of war.

Wow!

Not often these Heros share their stories like this. This much honesty is a special privilege to listen to. Thank you for the opportunity to hear these tales in your own voice, Mr. Sheffield. God bless you, your team and your family. 🇺🇸

Great book, captivating

Very much enjoyed the book. Appreciated the narration by the author. I will say, he did a poor job of giving a timeline throughout the book. Even a simple “it was 2010 when .......” would’ve sufficed. Overall good book, hope to see more from him.

Amazing!

This is by far one of the better modern war biographies available. The honesty of the brutality of war and the operators “warrior” mindset is rarely discussed so candidily and served as a breathe of fresh air. Justin’s narration really brings it all together. I would of loved it to be a much longer story (8-10hrs) as there was some large broad strokes that could of been filled out more but this is purely from a selfish perspective as I want to read more! Thanks for sharing your stories Justin.
