Needed a better narrator

The story was good but the narrator talked with a lisp and you could hear the pages turn. She even tripped over her words. She didn't do the story any good. It was if she wasn't prepared for the recording.

Good read BUT

Overall, the book is good. I’m starting to notice a trend in ALL of Ashley Antoinette books....especially the philosophy class both Morgan and Bleu took. I’m still addicted to the characters, that’s why I read.

The performance was awful. I understand the woman can’t help her impediment BUT who in the HELL allows a woman with a lisp to read...can hear her swallow spit and all—-not a good idea

She did it again!!

Loved loved it!! Can't wait to read part 2. I have read all of Ethics and butterfly, waiting on book 2 of butterfly now. Amazing reads

Narrator has gum in her mouth/ no edits

Narrator has gum in her mouth and its obvious that nobody edited her slip ups. at one point, the actually says" Oh it says bound" and just keeps going....but the book is awesome!

Just okay

Just okay.... That's all... Performance was in and out. And a of few missed pronunciations.

Horrible Narration/Average Storyline

I will start out by saying that I am a huge fan of Ashley Antoinette's writing and storylines. I love urban fiction romance and she usually does a good job at making me fall in love with at least one of the male characters.. This book left me feeling like there was something missing, I just didn't connect emotionally with Noah or Iman. Further, after Blue had gone through so much earlier in her life, and Noah being there for her always, when presented with having to make a decision on which man to choose, it seems silly to me that she would even think twice about choosing Noah. The storyline has been done before by other authors and I didn't feel like Ashley brought enough of her unique writing style to bring this story alive. With that being said, a lot of my dissatisfaction can be attributed to the horrible narration. The narrator's voice was quite mundane and did not bring any of the characters alive as she should have. Poor narration coupled with an average story has left me unwilling to purchase Luxe 2.

Didn't like the narrator

The book was pretty good, however, the narrator seemed as if she was chewing gum the entire book and it got very annoying.

I can't with this narrator

I usually don't take the time to write reviews but enduring this narrator's lisp, pronunciation and inability to project each character's words took away from the story. She sounds like she's whining! I am one to encourage people but she needs a new line of work. Please pay attention to your reviews. I hope I don't hear her narrating again. Stick to what works Cary Hite has the "secret sauce!!
