Publisher's Summary

Is sexuality so sacred that God has destroyed entire civilizations that were immoral?

Sexually perverse practices are everywhere. The world lies in sin, and in this day and age, it may be even harder than ever to escape from it. Or is it? Sexual conduct and the sanctity of marriage have always been in God’s interest, and they should be one of our highest priorities as well. Society is based on families, which are based on marriages, and a portion of a successful marriage is based on the sexual relationship between a husband and wife.

But what about pornography? What about homosexuality? What to say about nudists? Is lust really a deadly sin? And if so, what makes it so serious? Moreover, how do we avoid temptation, and where are the boundaries?

Lust has caused so much grief, so much heartbreak, and so many broken homes. We cannot underestimate the consequences of infidelity or rushing into a passion without self-control. Not only do our actions have an impact on ourselves, but also on many others around us.

In this audiobook, the author doesn’t beat around the bush when he condemns sexually inappropriate behavior, false theories, or erroneous assumptions. At the same time, the words emanate a certain understanding to those who struggle with addictions or boundaries. He lays it all out clearly and emphatically, also focusing on topics such as:

  • The difference between lust and love and how to distinguish one from the other.
  • Confusing messages and deceitful myths about sexuality debunked, including but not limited to nudists, gay marriage, abortion, masturbation, pornography, or simply sexual fantasies.
  • How the devil uses false ideas to mislead us and cause misery.
  • A peek into the dark industry of human slavery and the atrocities that happen behind the scenes of porn production.
  • Scriptural references to encouragement, warnings, and stories, both from the Old and the New Testament.
  • How King David’s horrible sin backfired on him big time, causing major guilt and losses he didn’t consider at the time he committed adultery and murder.
  • Entire empires and cities swept away and destroyed because of immoral sins, either by nature or by some other people conquering them.
  • Why events that happened in Pompeii and the German Love Parade are classic examples of how God tells his people to cease and desist all immoral activities.
  • God’s perspective on sex and families and how we can interpret the scripture not to commit adultery in our hearts.

As you hear the examples and the immensity of sexual immorality and its consequences, you will see things from a different light.

Lust is rampant

I listened to this and I was particularly surprised how many civilizations were destroyed because of the misuse of sexual feelings. I thought the news about the Love Parade in Germany was shocking but I saw the connection.
