A summer job. That's all it was supposed to be. It never crossed my mind that I was about to collide with a man who would obliterate every plan I ever made. My mother has always warned me that love is like a lightning bolt and it strikes without warning. But I had no intention of getting struck by either lightning or love anytime soon. I'd be too busy finishing my journalism degree and landing a job in a city far more sophisticated than Phoenix. There was certainly nothing in the cards about getting involved with an ex-ballplayer turned nightclub boss.

The story wasn't too bad, but the narrator was confusing at times. He was great for all the male roles, but it got confusing when he was narrating the female role. At times it was hard to tell who he was reading for.

Revenge causes more problems than anything else!
As usual, rivalry between clubs caused deaths and mayhem.
This episode we have the patched -over Gold Pipers of St. Paul, formally Steel Bandits defending themselves from the Blood Angels.
There's a wicked plan to use a doppelganger of the St Paul's VP to try and caused disruption and chaos in the newly reformed club.
It's a romance as well as a drama, with heart stopping moments on both fronts.

A luring read!
Can their relationship survive, especially after she is targeted by his enemies, or will she cut her losses and run like hell?
Oh, this was such an enjoyable read. Loved that this book had a male narrator though I would have loved a female narrator as well. It would have been a great duo!

These were very good books about a different club member of the Gold Vipers and his love interest. Each book is in keeping with the theme but different and very enjoyable. I was so surprised! After I read the Dark Ink MC series book 1, which was so bad and disgusting I returned it, I thought I would hate thus but I had already purchased just this book in the series so I read it. I am SO GLAD I did because this one is great! I truly enjoyed it!
