Heartwarming and Smoldering!

Luke by Kimberly Lewis is so much more than I expected. I loved how the author wrote both a heartwarming story while having it be smoldering at the same time. Karlie is strong and sassy, while Luke is both oblivious and endearing. Their banter is wonderful. Tiffany Williams was perfect for narrating this book. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. I will definitely listen to more books by this author and narrator.

Sweet, easy listen.

I have listened to some really heavy books lately... and I really needed this story. It is well written with a storyline that is so sweet and comfortable to hear! I will read more Kimberly Lewis (and or listen) and I will definitely listen to Tiffany Williams again!! Tiffany did an awesome job with the characters and has such a pleasant voice to listen to!!!

Luke is a smokin' read and an even hotter listen. Lewis and Williams work well together. Lewis provided the words that grab ahold of your heart and Williams gives them the voice that brings them to life. Karlie has waited on the sidelines for years, waiting for the guy of dreams to take notice. Now it's time to claim her man. Luke never knew what hit him. A tempting battle of hearts that is worth every minute.

A cowboy story to rope your heart

This is the first book that i have listened to by this author. Even though is the 3rd book in the series , it can be listened to as a stand-alone. . You get to hear about other characters that are secondary in this one but you can guess it’s from the other two stories.

Hero is Luke Heroine is Karlie.
This is a sweet romance. You get to see what a sweet female does when she has her heart set on her hero , and her hero is Luke . Karlie comes back into Luke life all grown up . Karlie has decided to take an internship at Luke's ranch for the summer to make her resume look like she’s more trustworthy for the future. Luke can’t believe how grown up Karlie is. When Luke plays it cool , Karlie decides to go after him herself , make the first move . Grab it and see if Luke finds out how he feels about Karlie . Does Karlie's plan to go after him work .

Tiffany Williams was excellent telling this story . Her voice is strong, clear and smooth. Tiffany was a Gem

Sweet story

Luke by Kimberly Lewis, narrarated by Tiffany Williams is book 3 in The McKades of Texas series. The characters were fun and light hearted and I really enjoyed the relationship build up. The story line was fun and sweet and just enough suspense of what was going to happen next kept me on the edge of my seat. I'm very particular about audible narrarators, but I really liked her. I will definitely read other books by this author. This is a newer author for me, and I'm really enjoying this series. I give this book a solid 5 stars.

I really enjoyed this book when I read it that I decided I wanted to listen to the audiobook as well. This audiobook was great! This is the first book I’ve listened to that the female narrator narrated both male and female viewpoints. The narrator did such a great job it didn’t take away from the story at all.

I highly recommend this book!!

Great book with believable characters!

I loved listening to Luke :The McKades of Texas, Book 3 by Kimberly Lewis and narrated by Tiffany Williams. As someone from Texas it was nice to hear some of our favorite sayings without them being too cheesy and not forced. Luke is a typical cowboy and Karlie has the dream of most little girls who grow up around a ranch. I would definitely recommend this audiobook!

wonderful book!

I have only listened to about 4-5 audiobooks before I downloaded Luke. I love childhood crushes turned to adult romances so I decided to give it a go. At first I thought that I would be annoyed by the southern twang but I LOVED it and felt very connected to the woman's voice who read the book. I felt like I was right there in the story and found myself wanting more quiet time to listen to this book.
In this book you have Karlie and Luke. Karlie has ALWAYS loved Luke but she was much younger than Luke. Fast forward years later Karlie has graduated from college and ends up doing an internship at Luke's family's horse farm. Luke and Karlie start a secret relationship because they don't want to upset their families that are really close. I really enjoyed this book and now want to go back and read about the rest of the family!

This book is sassy. I love friends to lovers books, but I love it even more when one is so deeply invested in the outcome of their forever.
Karlie Kyle loves Luke McKade, has for years. But all Luke sees is his mother’s best friend’s daughter. Determined to change how he sees her, Karlie returns to her hometown, to Luke family ranch to be specific, to do an internship after college. Luke is gob smacked at how just not so little Karlie is any more.
Convincing Luke to be her summer fling isn’t as hard as Karlie thought, but convincing him to be her forever….well that is going to take nothing less than a miracle.
This is a dual POV book. The flipping viewpoints allows us to see both perspectives of the story from both dynamics. Karlie is fierce and independent and knows exactly what she wants and what she will do to get it. Luke is a typical alpha, southern male who is struggling with changing his commitment phobia ways to obtain his happily ever after.
This is easily a 4 out of 5 stars!

A fantastic book

I had already read this book in print. I have to thank the narrator for the excellent presentation of this book. She voiced the characters and brought them to life in such a way that felt authentic. They were just as sarcastic and witty as I heard in my head when I read it initially. I found myself smiling and laughing along with the characters anew with the fresh presentation I enjoyed with this audio version. I really appreciated the skill the narrator provided in delivering the story along with voicing so many different characters.
