They're both facing discrimination from the community for no reason.

I thought that was a good story. I like the world building and wish that there was more closure on the antagonist. I don't want to give anything away saying who it is. I like how much chemistry Haven and Cash have.

A Heartfelt Return to Lucky Haven

Lucky Haven is a sweet, heartfelt romance with the perfect balance of emotional depth, small-town charm, and a love story that kept me invested from beginning to end. Zoe York creates relatable characters whose connection feels genuine, while the welcoming community adds another layer of warmth to the story.

I enjoyed watching their relationship develop through the challenges, vulnerability, and chemistry they shared. This was an engaging, comforting read with plenty of heart—perfect for anyone who enjoys emotional contemporary romance and a happily-ever-after that feels earned.

Cash's Haven

Haven was raised in an extremely religious home and has some trauma from it. She left for college, Cash, who had a thing for her went to jail, now both are back in Dragonfly Creek. Both are seen as pariahs by the congregation that Haven was once apart of. Haven runs to Cash when she is faced with unwanted attention, he jumps to protect “his girlfriend”. The pair starts on a fake relationship that slowly becomes real as the chemistry and physical relationship blossom. Both narrators did a great job bringing the story to life.

If you like cozy books with a few adult scenes this book is going to be perfect for you BUT there are some TWs including grooming (it mainly refers to it being to done). It's also done in duet style which is *chefs kiss*

My personal opinion: I didn't not like it... It's just not my cup of tea, I think it was too slow. There was alot of FMC character development mainly sexual development thru the book and she's 29. Idk I know alot of people will like this but if you prefer darker stuff I don't think this will be a favorite for you.

Opposites attract

This is book 2 of Dragonfly Creek. He was the bad boy the crush from her youth and she the good girl. Now years later she needs him and he will do everything in his power to be the man she needs.
