Worth the listen

This book is super encouraging, but if you are not ready to die to yourself, then it’s gonna be a lot to take in. But I did enjoy how he walked you through the male psyche so you can better understand your husband and how certain things or just simply not his fault but that it’s his brain. It’s super encouraging for wife’s that I have experienced trauma when it comes to their husbands porn habits. This book definitely dig deep and is super Raw. Get ready to do some examining of your own heart.

The practicality of the advices is the most attractive part: using real life examples makes it credible and easy to accept.

I love the honesty and vulnerability from which the book was born. It resonates with real people who face real challenges and problems in their marriage. It was a very encouraging book. Even though I’ve been happily married to a very godly man for over 30 years I still enjoy being challenged to improve as a wife and to honor the Lord Jesus with my life by honoring my husband and being the best wife I can be. Also I love the emphasis on personal prayer life and relationships with the Lord. It is vital in navigating single or married life.

This is a great read for marriage-minded women.

This book provides so much information about how to engage in a reciprocal, devoted marriage. Though it focuses on influencing him, it is really about understanding the physiological differences between us so that you can grow well together. AMAZING book.

Provides understanding

Provides insight and understanding of my husband to better love him and strengthen our marriage. This will be one of those books to read and reread to remember how to truely love a husband the way God intended.

Gives great perspectives for wives! I really loved this book it helped me see things in a different light and I already feel like it’s helped my relationship!

Great examples & real life application

Ok, this was a bit tough to chew through. When I first picked it up, I was afraid it was going to be the same thing I’ve already heard. Boy was I wrong. Very good narratives, true life stories and applications to your daily life that you can practice. Loved that the focus was on YOU and not on your spouse. Ultimately, if you’re still playing the blame game, you are holding onto a hurt that needs to be healed. This one is for those that are ready to forgive, and focus on the growth & relationship that God has prepared for YOU. And sometimes the spouse you are married to is an opportunity to do just that.

Absolutely love this book and learned so much from it. Definitely a must ready if you are struggling in your marriage.
