Publisher's Summary

A booty call. A stuck elevator. A chance to move on.

Three years after her ex-boyfriend left her to pursue his Hollywood dream, Riley Eames' life is still on hold, hindered by questions only he can answer.

So when he asks to meet her for a booty call while he's in town, she reluctantly agrees, only to get stuck in the hotel elevator with charming British actor, Ashe Hunter, who's in town to promote his latest movie.

But even as sparks fly between them, a celebrity romance may not be enough to get Riley's life moving again, not when the answers to the questions she's been seeking are finally revealed - and letting go just might be the last thing she can ever do.

Not your typical girl meets celebrity...

Loving Ashe: The Celebrity Series, Book 1 by Liz Durano is a great start to The Celebrity Series. This isn't your typical girl meets celebrity boy and they fall into each other story. There's a lot more involved, including an overdose, an ex, betrayal, preconceived notions, and so on. Riley meets Ashe when they're both stuck in an elevator together. She doesn't know who he is, but they go on to grab a bite to eat together and end up getting along really well. As their relationship starts to grow, Riley realizes that her ex-boyfriend may make things a bit tougher to deal with, as she still has a lot of unanswered questions from the time that they split up.

Riley and Ashe were really likable characters and the others, well, were bearable. Her sister Paige was pretty annoying, but is also a pretty integral part of the story, and there are explanations for her actions as the story goes on. Gareth, her ex, is kind of a twit, but ends up being fairly decent in the end. The story was a bit slow moving, as others have mentioned, but still very entertaining.

Tracy Marks did a fabulous job with the narration on this story. Like, for real. Her character voices and accents were well done and all unique, and she added the perfect amount of emotion when needed. This is my first listen to any performance by Ms. Marks, but I'd definitely listen to more of her performances, without any hesitation. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this book if the summary sounds like something that you'd like. It's a good, solid listen and a promising start to the series. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher for an honest review.

The pull....

This was a great book. The emotional pull in the book was draining yet captivating. The character depth was fabulous. I felt for each of them, I loved them, i hated them, and then loved them again. It was a back and forth pull of my heartstrings. The painful love triangle - of the old love versus the new. It was great~

Narration and production was awesome! Great quality Audio.

Fantastic narration!

This is my first book, albeit an audio book, by Liz Durano and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it! The writing flowed so perfectly! Riley is fantastic! She’s a perfect heroine! She meets up with an ex who left her to become famous when she gets stuck in an elevator with another actor… she just can’t get away from these men! Here we have Ashe… oh so sweet and swoony Ashe! He just oozes this British charm that American men cannot replicate! I loved the various subplots and was totally on Riley’s side! She needs some self confidence. She needs to believe in herself!

Tracy Marks was the narrator and she did a superb job of coming off shy, yet lacking a bit of confidence. I was laughing at some of the antics and the fun banter between characters. I’m always so intrigued when one narrator can pull off a variation of characters and voices. Mark’s voices worked in all the characters! I loved the narration!

Great start of a series

Reading the blurb of this book I thought it was going to be the "normal" girl falls for the celebrity story but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was so much more. This book has so many twists and turns it leaves you wanting to know whats going to happen next. The secondary characters in this book make up a big part of this story and help bring this story life. This book will pull at your emotions and you will love and hate many of the characters in the book. It's a great book that has a HEA but has some good twists and turns to get there.

Tracy Marks hits this out of the park with her narration. Her narration of Ashe was amazing and she pulls off the kids voices in the next breath. Not many narrators can pull off the work she does!

Worth your time and credit!

Great start to a series. Very entertaining, enjoyable and engaging story. It pulled me in immediately and held my complete attention from start to finish. It's definitley an emotional rollercoaster. This is one of those books I couldn't wait to get back to anytime I had to pause it.

Talk about a tangled web of lies and betrayal. There are different levels of betrayal and this is an ultimate betrayal.

A sweet romance, a huge betrayal, a little steamy romance, a bit of drama and plenty of angst with some interesting twists and surprises you won't see coming. Fortunately they do get a great HEA which they both deserve.

Great cast of characters. Of coarse Ashe and Riley were great and both likable from the start. Which made them easy to relate to and you couldn't help but root for them. Paige was an annoying control freak disguising it as sisterly advice/guidance.

This is the first book by Liz Durano that I have read but it definitley won't be my last. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series. Hopefully it will be available on Audible soon.

Tracy Marks does a fantastic job with the narration as usual. I love listening to anything she narrates. She has one of those voices that just pull you right into a story and makes it come to life. Clearly spoken with a nice smooth pace. Great character voices and accents. All of them both male and female. She has a way of bringing the characters to life and conveying every single emotion they are going through. Very enjoyable.

Riley and Ashe

Riley had her own insecurities ever since Garreth, her boyfriend, left her 3 years prior. She agreed to meet him at the hotel to try to get some answers, but she changed her mind. That's when she met Ashe and in a stuck elevator. He was intrigued that she didn't know he was a famous English actor.
After Garreth left her, she was into drugs. She was full of insecurities. Her sister and brother-in-law made a lot of life decisions for her. It wasn't until she decided to take charge of her own life, was she finally finding her own independence. trusting and loving Ashe , was a big part of her changing.
Tracy Marks narration narration is very good. Giving each character their own voice and personality. 🎧audiobookobsessionreveiwer🎧

THIS BOOK!!!!

The book was so good and the narrator was spot on. The story kept me wanting more and the characters in the book were perfect. Though there were times I wanted to reach through and strangle the exs of the main characters. I couldn't stop listening...thankful I had both books...I'm now starting book two as I write this!!!

🎧Review for Audiobook Obsession 🎧

Complex love story, that deals with a past/present relationship and a few didn’t see that coming moments. Tracy Marks tells us how Riley deals with an ex and her new love interest.

Loving a great story

Book 1 in the series. And my first by the author . The author wrote a love story with lots of emotion, betrayal, sadness , anger and surprise. Plus shame fir Riley.
Hero is Ashe. Heroine is Riley.

Riley heart was broken when her boyfriend, who was also her long time friend gave up on the 2 of them when his dreams became reality. When her ex calls her when he’s in town and asks to see her again she agrees . On her way up to see him, she gets stuck in an elevator. That is when the fun starts with Riley. She meets Ashe and he rocks her world . His Charms draws Riley in and she wants more. Riley forgets about her ex .

Tracy performance was great. Her voice and tone for the parts is fantastic, strong , smooth and clear

Thank you Audiobook obsession for a great listen

Gorgeous!

What a fabulous story, beautifully narrated by Tracey Marks (apart from her briefly used Yorkshire accent 😂😂💖💖)! Ashe and Riley make a such a lovely couple and are surrounded by characters that are just as interesting. The story is much more than a straight forward romance, written with layers of interest and events that create a thoroughly satisfying story. I have loved every word! 💖💖💖💖

Chance meeting changes their lives

I enjoyed this book. It starts a little slow with some repeat verbiage but it picks up to reveal secrets and reasons for past hurts. The first meeting in the elevator is comical with Riley changing clothes and her can of pepper spray. I enjoyed the characters or at least Ashe and Riley. Riley's sister was a bit of a pain but she had past things that were the reason. Gareth turned out to be better than first thought but in the end it was all Ashe and Riley.

Tracy Marks did a great job with this book. I enjoyed listening to her voice.

Riley and Ashe, Ashe and Riley

Wow. Just wow. There are no words. Ashe and Riley's story had me in my feelings. They just ran the gamut. Tracy Marks adding her voice to the story gave it a greater depth and captivating quality. What a journey. I must say. I did stop reading at one point, and came back to it a day later. I was a little overwhelmed, and not in a good place to listen to this story. But I came back and it was so much of everything. I will be picking up Riley and Ashe's story. I can't wait.

Loving Ashe

Riley is quite the character, I loved the opening scene where she changes in the elevator. And with a hot British stranger. The story is deep and one with great depth. Some of the story is fast paced and some is not. Riley's over protective sister can be quite annoying and you so want to put her in her place. Tracy Marks does a fantastic job on the narration and the accents. Thanks for the recommendation Audiobook Obsession.

All the feels and shocks!

This is a first time with this author for me and I enjoyed her writing style and character development. I was not expecting the shocks in this story, I had so many emotions throughout the emerging revelations I didn't know what to do with them all! I feel there is still so much to discover and feel like I needed a bit more of the romance between Ashe and Riley. I'm just hoping Riley doesn't get hurt any more and Ashe is the wonderful gentleman she thinks he is. Tracy's narration was good and she has a good was of telling the story with her voice.
