great story!

sad at times but that is what keeps it real! a true second chance. lp dover has impressed me with all her series so far! i am a huge fan! narrator read very fast so had to slow it down plus I wish there was a male reading the male storyline. at times I was like...who is telling this part of the story? am going to listen to rest of series and would recommend it to anyone who wants a good love story.

Good book but..

The narration spoiled it. Was rushed & unemotional. I haven’t wanted to get to the end of the story as quickly as that before.

Perfect second chance at love.

Ok I promised I'd not cry but yeah I broke that promise. This book was awesome and I can't get enough of the story. Only thing wrong was it wasn't longer . It was a perfect second chance at love story. Love came back around and was better the second time around!

Galen and Korinne are perfect for each other!

A beautiful story about love, loss, friendship, and second chances! Korinne hits rock bottom with the sudden loss of her husband, Carson and moves in with her parents to help cope with the loss. After 6 months, she finally decides it's time to move on and therefore moves back to Charlotte, NC where she lived and worked while with her husband. It's too much for her to live in the same house they shared, and decides to get a condo until she's ready to deal. Her best friend is tired of seeing Korinne so sad and unhappy, so she decides to play matchmaker, bringing her back in contact with her college sweetheart, Galen. Korinne is surprised and ashamed to have the feelings she does when just being around Galen. She's scared and hasn't even had the passion to start working again.
Galen is now the CEO of his late fathers' architectural firm but has never forgotten Korinne and the love they shared and lost when they both moved in other directions after college. He is beyond happy to see her and makes it his mission to make her happy again and hopefully embark on the love that they once shared. They have quite the journey ahead of them.
