I loved the story so much when I read the e-arc and when I did a reread with the audiobook so my partner could enjoy the book as well I was blown away how the story was brought to life! The narrator is so talented and really made you feel like you were in the competition. It also felt like you really were dealing with a mother like Lia’s and I felt the tightness in my chest like there was no escaping her. 10/10 so good!
