I wrote this book to share my testimony of the goodness of God. He did not promise me an easy life without pain or struggles, but he did promise me that he will always be by my side to help me to navigate this thing called life. Blessed are those who have regard for the weak; the Lord protects them in times of trouble (Psalm 41:1).

This book is about my story of resilience, perseverance, and toughness. I have been strengthened by all the storms in my life. I have experienced emotional trauma, setbacks, and insurmountable trials and tribulations, but I am still standing. I refuse to give up and let the devil win.

Don’t let anything or anyone stop you from heeding your purpose or calling. God is there to lift you when you are at your lowest and feeling weak. God wants to have a relationship with you. His grace is sufficient for you. God said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses so that Christ’s power may rest on me (2 Corinthians 12:9).

This book offers the tools and inspiration that you need to keep moving forward to achieve your goals. By sharing my vulnerability and life experiences honestly, I hope that you, too, can develop the resilience, perseverance, and toughness necessary to overcome even the most challenging obstacles in life. I will continue to live a life of obedience to and dependency on God to achieve greatness.

With faith we can move mountains. This story was beautiful. I’m so happy you had the strength and motivation to push on. Being a single mom I know is not easy, especially being ill. You have done a great job. I’m sorry you had to go through all that you did, but that made you the beautiful soul you are today. Continue to trust and believe.
