Publisher's Summary

Chet and Kimberly have both failed when it comes to love. Will they risk their hearts to love again? Chet Leonard's life was forever changed when his 17-year-old son died and then, soon after, his wife walked out on their family. Over two years later, all he wants to do is hold onto his horse ranch and raise his remaining sons to be honorable men. Kimberly Welch, widowed mother of Tara, a rebellious 15-year-old, has reached the end of her finances and nearly the end of her rope. She and Tara come to King's Meadow to try to piece their lives back together again. Kimberly has no intention of become involved with the residents of this remote mountain community and certainly not with any man. When 84-year-old Anna McKenna returns to King's Meadow and to the Leonard ranch, she becomes an agent of change and healing for the two hurting families. With her help, Kimberly and Chet's families at last discover a love without end.

So so

City raised, city loving, single mom and her teenage, horse obsessed, daughter end up on a rural ranch Single father of sons. ...

Lacks sufficient tension points or plot twists, IMHO.

Sweet, but just a little too sweet

Only rated it lower because it was a bit overly wholesome with a lot of religious overtone at the end. Not a bad story, decent character development, and the narration was what kept me engaged. Not bad, just not for me.

Good Book Great Narrator

Good book for a little girl who grew up loving horses and dreaming of the west. Now old I can live vicariously in this book. Therese Plummer is always one of my favorite narrators. She brings the story to life with just the right touch.

Love Without End

I have found this Robin Lee Hatcher story set in the beautiful Idaho countryside to be so very enjoyable.

I loved the intertwining of the two stories, one of the past and then the current one. Both stories were about women finding a place they belonged and being content with the lives God has brought them to and embracing them.

The current story also had the characters learning to trust after past hurts from those they loved, learning to be willing to start over. Willing to let go of expectations of what the future was to be and trust it to God.

I recommend this tender romance to all, especially if you like a few cowboys tossed in to the mix!
