Publisher's Summary

From New York Times best-selling author, Kristen Proby, comes the latest in her beloved With Me In Seattle Series, Love With Me.

Best friends from college. Plus-ones since med school. A chance for something new...

Jace Crawford heals hearts for a living. More than that, medicine is his life. To become the leading cardiothoracic surgeon on the West Coast, he’s made sacrifices. No social life. He barely has time to sleep. Love? Forget about it. But when everything goes horribly wrong on his table, and he unexpectedly loses a patient, Jace is suspended from work.

When a man has nothing but his job, what does he do when that’s gone?

Joy Thompson collects unwanted strays. A dog with one eye, a three-legged cat, a bird that swears like a sailor? All part and parcel of her veterinary business. It helps pass the time.

Until Jace calls out of the blue to ask her out on a real date. Spending extra time with him is dangerous. Her feelings for her best friend have always been stronger than simple companionship. If she gets attached, what happens when he goes back to work and leaves her behind?

But as the weeks progress, falling for each other is inevitable. This time, Jace’s heart is the one that will need fixing before both of them end up broken.

Best friends fall in love

Sweet romance about the middle brother- Chase and his best friend Joy. Chase first has to deal with a malpractice suit and then an overcommitted schedule as a top surgeon as well as chief of surgery. Joy is a vet and has her own challenges balancing work and home. Lots of sexy scenes and interaction with their siblings, as well as a few occasions with the Montgomery family from earlier books in the series. The epilogue is a bit lame and could have been more illuminating.

Loved This One!

Another great story in the With Me In Seattle World!!

I adored Jace and Joy and how they felt like home from word one go! Best friends for 15+ years and he starts to see her in a new light that allows them to switch from friendship love to romantic love with ease.

There isn’t the typical contrived miscommunication that leads to a monster break up either.

They have some struggles keeping their new dynamic when Jace goes back to work after a
month off. They have a medium level fight about it but it feels real.

The whole book feels like I’m hearing about something my friend down the street is dealing with.

It was nice hearing a dash about a few of the original group too!

Very well done!

Great addition to the With Me in Seattle series.

Once again author Kristen Proby scores with an interesting plot and well developed characters. Jace and Joy’s friends to lovers story hit all the buttons for me. I loved listening to the wonderful narrators, Joan Delaware and Lee Samuels as they journeyed to their HEA.

Love jace and joy

This is one of the best series, and there isn’t a bad book in the series. Kristen Proby did not disappoint with this addition. Jace and Joy are great and show such love and respect for each other. Plus of course we get to see so many characters from other books in this series. Can’t wait for Levi’s story. Seeing how the friends to lovers works here is great. Plus Jaces work dilemma is so good. Cannot wait for the next addition to this series and listen from Kristen Proby. Narration by le Samuels and Joan Delaware was not disappointing

Joy and Jace are so refreshing

Kristen Proby has done it once again. The With Me in Seattle series comes alive with Joy and Jace and the Williams and Montgomery families. I can never get enough. I am awaiting a book for Joy’s sister Noelle and Jace’s brother Levi.

Female voice sounds like she is sick

The female voice - Joan Delaware sounds scratchy and sick especially when she does Jace. Lee Samuels is awesome. I love Kristen Probys books!

Friends to Lovers

Jace and Joy have been friends for 19 years since freshman year in college. She's a veterinarian and he's a cardio surgeon and they've always been plus ones for each other. She's always had a crush on him but he's felt like she's a friend. When he loses a patient and the family brings a lawsuit against him and the hospital, he finds he has more time on his hands and spends more time with Joy. All of a sudden he starts seeing her in a different light. As they spend more time together, they find the attraction becoming deeper. They end up acting on their feelings and falling in love. Can their love survive when he goes back to work and spends more time at work than he plans? I always like Kristen Proby's writing and I really like this story and the epilogue at the end. There's one more Crawford brother, Levi, and I hope his story comes soon. I think Joan Delaware and Lee Samuels do a wonderful narration.

Another good book with great characters and a good story.
Two professional doctors trying to make it work after staying in the friend zone for so long.
Book was also well narrated by Joan Delaware and Lee Samuels. They were good together and made a great sexy couple. 💖💖

pretty boring

I would say not worth the credit - the storyline and narrators are both pretty monotone in this. I do like the quality of male narrators voice, but maybe because they had very little to go on, rarely displayed modulation and deeper levels of emotion, or just something extra, to feel like you were hearing real people and connect with characters. the storyline was pretty poor, I dont want emotional over the top angsty drama, but I do need more friction to make it interesting.Even the first kiss was so downplayed, it was like it didn't happen and they were immediately in a relationship. dont get me started on why it was okay for him not to call her for weeks but her dad made her feel bad about expecting more than this and to show up for him at the hospital, no one is to busy for a call, and if doesnt have time to call he wont have time for a visit.
