Such a sweet sorry!

This is my first book from this author and I really enjoyed it. I really like the main characters and really appreciated the way the store evolved. I was reluctant to listen to it because some of the reviews mentioned how they did not like the narrator but upon listening to the sample I decided to give it a try. The most important thing to me is being able to distinguish the different characters when they are speaking and I think that she really got it down. I also loved Josiah she’s such a sweet little boy and at time I forget that he’s only 2. Will definitely listen to other books by this author.

great book!

i really enjoyed this book. I didn't realiE it was by an author I have enjoyed in the past. She is becoming one of my favorites. I like her faith based novels that are not embarrassed by the fact that people kiss.

an absolutely wonderful christian book

wow!! what can I say. I had to call couple friends to tell about this book. I don't often do reviews, but this book grabbed my attention from the very beginning. so many times a book is "ok" but I have discovered a new christian author that I will be ordering more of. I can't recommend this book highly enough. it was worth every penny I paid for it.

I love the story it makes me cry and scream at times Emma makes me scream can someone be so simply I love Patrick he goes a long way with common sense the narrator was emotionless if the story wasn't great I would stop listening long time

Warm Wholesome Romance

I loved everything about this novel! The suspense & plot twists kept me reading into the night. The characters came alive on the page & made me wish I could meet them. The child in the story was adorable & I felt like I could reach out & hug him. I especially like the Christian message in this novel.

Great story difficult narration

I felt the story was excellent however it took me a while to get past the narration. I felt the narrator's voice was very staccato and almost sounded more like a computer or robot. Love Jody Hedlund books but this narrator I felt did not do the story justice.

Wonderful

This book was truly moving and reminded me that God means for me to always have hope for myself and others. HE blessed Jody was an amazing gift with words and storytelling!

This is a wonderful story. The author created such interesting people that had a life of twists and turns that showed they had "character". Could the
little boy end up with parents? I f so, who?
