Story
I’ve been in this life for 50 years, been trying to work out its riddle for 42, and been keeping diaries of clues to that riddle for the last 35. Notes about successes and failures, joys and sorrows, things that made me marvel, and things that made me laugh out loud. How to be fair. How to have less stress. How to have fun. How to hurt people less. How to get hurt less. How to be a good man. How to have meaning in life. How to be more me.

Story
Mackenzie Allen Phillips' youngest daughter, Missy, has been abducted during a family vacation, and evidence that she may have been brutally murdered is found in an abandoned shack deep in the Oregon wilderness. Four years later, in this midst of his great sadness, Mack receives a suspicious note, apparently from God, inviting him back to that shack for a weekend. Against his better judgment he arrives at the shack one wintry afternoon and walks back into his darkest nightmare. What he finds there will change his life forever.

Publisher's Summary
If you have ever wondered what real love is and wished you could have it forever, this story is for you.
"God will write through you." Those were almost the last private words Mother Teresa spoke to acclaimed filmmaker Christina Stevens - urging her to share her personal story with the world. A similar calling had come months earlier when Mother Teresa appeared to Christina in a dream, summoning her to India to film her message to the world. Without hesitation, Christina boarded a plane for Calcutta. Little did she know when destiny beckons and a saint takes your hand, miraculous events and profound discoveries are around every corner.
Christina dipped her pen into the timelessness of the soul to share memories, dreams, and reflections that reach beyond time and space. While this remarkable account of her experience with Mother Teresa covers only a few weeks, it embraces centuries.
Open your heart as you listen. Christina's narration and her performance of many voices interlaced with sounds and inspirational music will illuminate the golden threads weaving through the fabric of your life and the fabric of all living things in our world - none of which may ever be the same again.

I do not recommend this book.
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
If there was no music and someone else read it.
What could Christina Stevens have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Written more about Mother Teresa and actually checked her facts about the Catholic faith.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Christina Stevens?
Not sure.
Any additional comments?
This is a book about the author, not a book about Mother Teresa. As a Catholic who knows her faith, I was put off with this book and her inability to research what Catholicism is. Mother Teresa is the epitome of the Catholic faith.

Outstanding!
I have read this book now a few times and this was my first time listening to it. I loved it! The message Christina Stevens shares with all of us through her journey is what the world needs now which is Love! It is an eye opening and comforting story of hope that is a treat to listen to in the busy days in traffic or on a peaceful trip to the beach. Either way the message is clear and beautiful. A gift to all of us.
