Cliffhanger

Doozie cliffhanger! Jen and Zach had issues to figure out. They do get their HEA! Jennifer Groberg was great with the narration.

Love visiting Helena Grove!

Back to Helena Grove I go. Well, it's a rocky trip to say the least! We are back with Jen and Zack, and I am so happy we get a look at their relationship as it progresses. In love, they find themselves so involved in their own day to day lives that they are missing each other. A trip to Aunt Gabby should reset them, right? Maybe. Maybe not. When these two find they aren't in sync, life takes a turn. But will they get back on track? This is such a fun listen, as it really does reflect how things happen. And I love that we were kept guessing and hoping! It was a great trip to one of my favorite small towns and I am looking forward to going back.

Jennifer Groberg continues her narration and it's wonderful. Keeping continuity with voices, I love that I know the characters and it's easy to distinguish who is talking. Groberg just gets this small town and makes it a pleasure to visit.

Very Well Written & Very Well Narrated

It is written in a way I can enjoy experiencing the lives of the characters as their story unfolds. The search for the wedding dress, the family moments leading up to the wedding & the ceremony are my absolute favorite parts.

Great storyline

The third book in the series kept the story going even stronger! it was ended with a cliff hanger and cannot wait to read more in the future.

Love Takes Hold

Zack totally has no give or understanding in him. I wish he would give a little respect to Jen POV. Instead I feel he acts like a child when she tries to discuss things with him instead of learning why she feels that way. Another great sweet romance though. And what a surprise ending! Can’t wait for more. Fantastic narration.

beautiful love story

A beautiful love story . everything was going fine in Zach and Jens relationship until he proposed. she wasn't ready for marriage and he was hurt when
she said no.She !oved him and still wanted to be with him, but not marriage. They drifted apart. Both had some.soul.searching.. She returned to New York.
It wasnt until she spoke with her father, when she found out what is important in life and commitment.
Jennifer Groberg narration is very good. She tells this story with emotion. I was gifted this audio and offered my honest review.

Delightful!

A wonderful, slightly angsty, story of young lovers who are establishing a long-term relationship that hits a speed bump when a proposal comes into the picture. Jen and Zach had a childhood friendship but she kept walking away. Once they got together as a couple, it appeared that their future was bright. But Jen still had some issues about love and what a marriage should be, thanks to the "unfortunate" choices her father had made. His meddling served a purpose, because it made her think about what she really wanted. Their happy ending is ongoing, since their story continues.
Jennifer Groberg did a wonderful job with the narration. Her intonation and pace made the story come alive.

Great book!

A great ending to these series. I listened to all three and found them quite interesting. The narrator did a great job with it!

Sweet Series!

The book’s description for Love Takes Hold sums it up well! In the third book of the Helena’s Grove series we are back to continue Jen and Zach’s story. These books all closely follow where the previous book ended, and of course all of the characters return for each story.

Jen and Zach end up being at a turning point in their relationship, and usually you know what that means… But what happens if things don’t go the way one expects?

How can you not address certain things in a relationship at all until that certain moment occurs/ or afterwards? This does show that even in their mid-twenties that both Zach and Jen still have some growing up to do while playing house. But I am sure this situation happens every day!

This is such a sweet series! We also get a definitive answer with Jen and Zach, and yes, there is realization and growth with both of them. And we have a bit of an unexpected cliffhanger that turns this whole family upside down that will affect the rest of this series!
