Publisher's summary

From Sarah M. Eden, the USA Today best-selling author of the Longing for Home series, Love Remains is a new romance novel set in the beloved world of Hope Springs.

For nearly a year, Tavish O'Connor has carried the crushing weight of his family's future on his shoulders. He has taken on the care of his youngest brother, Finbarr, who lost his eyesight in a terrible accident. But the lad needs more than Tavish can provide. Finbarr needs hope.

Cecily Attwater specializes in hope. As a tutor to the newly blind, she has dedicated her life to helping others overcome the obstacles she herself has conquered. Her new assignment in a remote corner of Wyoming proves trickier than usual: Finbarr refuses to learn. To make matters worse, his family - and the other Irish townspeople - are less than thrilled to discover an Englishwoman in their haven.

Cecily's only hope lies in securing the cooperation of her pupil's brother, Tavish, who happens to be her harshest critic and quite possibly the most frustrating man she's ever known.

For Finbarr's sake, Tavish and Cecily forge an uneasy alliance that, as the weeks pass, tiptoes toward something deeper than either dares admit or face, and toward a future they know to be impossible. There can be no hope of a happy outcome for an Irish man and an English woman amongst a people reeling from violence and centuries of hatred between their two homelands.

Wow!

One of the sweetest stories I've ever heard! So beautifully written. Awesome sense of humor. Challenge, heartache, dreams, character, courage and laughter so beautifully intertwined. Highly recommend! The narrator is amazing! How she manages to bring to life so many characters in such a distinct, flawless way I'll never know!

Great narration

This story continues the journey of Longing For Home. There's so much healing in this book. The narrator does a fabulous job using the 4 required accents, and even gives the characters distinction inside of the accents. She's quite talented!

Left me wanting the story to continue

Sarah M. Eden weaves a great story and Nancy Peterson is a superb reader. This is the first book I've listened to by Ms. Eden and it certainly won't be the last!

The characters were fully developed, the various relationship were believable, and the story line, which is somewhat different, drew me right in. Ms. Peterson did a wonderful job of bringing the characters to life. You never wondered which character was speaking and the various accents were well done.

Wonderful to the last page!

This book did NOT disappoint! I loved Tavish from the very beginning of the Hope Springs series and I'm so happy he got his own story. Cecily is such a strong character yet human and relatable. I could listen to this story over and over again!

Pleasantly pleased

I was a little unsure of purchasing a book I had not heard of the author before, but to my delight it was most enjoyable. Not simply a beautiful complex love story but one with humor, that causes the heart to dance! It is a story with several good lesson of sadness, anger, sorrow but the best lesson of judging others harshly & the strength of the family love and letting love remain! Excellent story and the narrator is a true joy to listen too!

Beautiful Story

I absolutely loved it! I'm still swooning. This might be my favorite Sarah M Eden book so far. I didn't love the first two books in the series as much as I had expected to so I wasn't sure what I would think of this one. But my goodness! It was such a beautiful and heartfelt story! Tavish and Cecily were so perfect as the main characters. Their connection and emotions felt so real to me. I HIGHLY recommend the audio version! Nancy Peterson does a phenomenal job bringing all the characters to life and her reading just pulled me in! Loved it!!

A Beautiful Story of How Love Truly Heals All

This is my first story I have read by author Sarah M Eden, but it will not be the last. Ms. Eden has created such a wonderful cast of characters. I just know there's more to tell in the lives of Finbar, Emma, and perhaps, Biddy.

The story begins with a glimpse of the fiercely loyal members of the O'Connor family. It is hinted that they will do anything for family and for their countrymen located in the Montana territory. The Finbar O'Connor appears to have given up on life at the young age of 17 after a fire took his sight. The O'Connors hire a tutor to help him. A Mr. Atwater.

Things only heat up when Mr. Atwater is not a Mister, but a Miss...and she's English.

Nancy Peterson makes this story truly come to life. Her storytelling is soft and captivating. She smoothly transitions from an Irish to an English accent (all while giving the narrator a General American voice). She expertly spins the tale switching from teen to adult to the various mature voices in the book. I cannot say enough how much I enjoyed this performance. Bravo!

I'm looking forward to the rest of this series. I am hoping Ms. Peterson will have the opportunity to narrate them as well.

There are no L, V, S scenes to worry about for a younger audience
