FBI Action Romance - I loved it

If you want to get lost in a story, this is the book for you. Light, easy and fun, a great follow up to Diamond Girl. I loved Taz, reformed manwhores are one of my favourite book boyfriends, and that’s Taz to a tee. A true alpha male with a possessive streak and a heart of gold, he’s adorable. Lindsey too is a force to be reckoned with, yes she has a stubborn streak, and yes, it does cloud her judgement, badly at times, but that does make for an interesting story. Action, romance, but be warned, not for the faint hearted, possible triggers with certain scenes not for. FBI agents, looking to catch the bad guys, a little cheesy, in a good way. I’m loving Chandler Gray’s narration in this series, perfect for all characters.

Love The Male Narrator!

I had previously read this book but decided to try it in audible. Was not disappointed . Could not turn it off and LOVED the male narrator !

Loving this series!

The daughter of Diamond Girl, Lindsey, is recovering from her parents divorce, and her dad’s embezzlement at her grandfather’s pharmaceutical company. She’s trying to enjoy her freshman year at college but she also has a huge crush on her new stepfather’s FBI agent...Taz. Can Lindsey get Taz to see her as anymore than his friend’s stepdaughter?
Taz certainly sees Lindsey as more...but he’s been warned off by his friend...stepdaughter off limits...got it! Except when Lindsey needs him and things get complicated. Lindsey tries to move on but Taz has a change of heart. Fast paced, action packed and some super steamy moments make for another great book!

I LIKED IT!

I enjoyed it! The narration was good and will keep you entertained! The author does a good job with the character builds and plot. I like that you don't have to read the first book to enjoy this one! I look forward to reading more books in this series! I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Not another crappy little romance novel

I have a hard time with a lot of romance type novels. But this one is very different than the rest. It was a little bit of a longer book than a lot of other romance books and that was perfect. It gave this book a lot more depth and the characters were more multi-dimensional. I mean I laughed, I cried (stupid PMS...I cried a lot!). This book was phenomenal. I plan on looking for more from Andrea Smith. The narrator also did an excellent job. One of the better books that I've listened to in a while. I really hope I can review the next book in the series!!

Wow! I loved this! So much action and suspense

I love the tone of this book. This story takes off after book 1 and moves at a nice pace. Wonderful characters enhanced from book 1 as well. We get to know more about Lindsey and Taz. I wondered about Taz and it was nice to see how he turned his life around with Lindsey. Then had the cojones to talk to her Dad aka Mr FBI. I was seriously impressed. The “bad” stuff that happened to Lindsey was just awful! I seriously felt for her. I couldn’t believe that she didn’t have some mental adjustments that needed to me made about her looks after that.

Anyway this is the second in the series and I loved it. It has everything I needed to keep my attention riveted. What I love about this series is they are more than just romance..they have danger and suspense throughout them as well. We also get to see more or Slater and Sammie. They were huge characters in book 1 so it’s nice to check up on them as well.

I did listen to this on audio and Chandler Gray did another outstanding job. He puts his heart into these characters and adds another layer to the story.

Um still debating

The book was not bad. But it was not the best either. It was just okay. Not worth a credit.

Love Plus One

An intense story that continues after Diamond Girl but with a new couple close to home. So much suspense in this book that will leave you on the edge of your seat with such a sweet ending you are happy to have been there to feel it. Loved this book, maybe even more than the first. Narration was done beautifully as well.

I loved this book!

I really enjoyed this book. Andrea really has a way of giving you all the drama, romance and angst while still giving you your HEA!
The characters are strong yet vulnerable. The narration is amazing. This is book 2 in this series but can be read as a standalone!
I highly recommend this book/series!
