Love Me Reckless is book #2 in the Love Me Dangerous series. Dakota Davies has left me in a big ol' emotional puddle with this one and the story of Sawyer and Kirilee. Sawyer is creating a new future for himself, a fresh start. Kirilee is taking one for the team and marrying an a-hole (but pretty on the outside) for the family business. Sawyer and Kirilee have total chemistry and form a friendship that sparks at every touch! The binge-w0rthy suspense in this story is thrilling with plot twists right up to the end. This is a standalone, but DO NOT miss this series.

The dual narration was perfection! Robert Hatchet and Laura Horowitz have teamed up again for another dynamic performance. And OOOO, Rob is singing!! 5/5 stolen heart stars!!

Hot Tub Wishes

The narrators did a fantastic job and really bring this story to life. They really mesh well together and I could feel all the emotions. I listened to this book in one shot cause it grabbed my attention and wouldn't let go. Sawyer meets Kirilee while out with friends and has an instant draw to her. She ditches her slimebag of a fiance and hangs with Sawyer which starts up a wonderful friendship and deep bond. This opposites attract romance has a little bit of suspense and danger but the chemistry between Sawyer and Kirilee and their journey to an HEA is what kept my attention. Highly recommend this 5 star book.

Not my favorite

I’ve listen to all the books that has been released from this series and this is my least favorite of them all. It was okay, I felt like the FMC (Kirilee) was weak but I did love Sawyer. The story drag a bit at first nothing to be excited about, maybe that’s why I listened and read this book last.
The conflict kinda felt short, It wasn’t as mysterious/suspense isn’t as good as the rest of the books in this series.

Either way, it was an okay book. Laura and Robert did amazing with the narration. My favorite was hearing Robert’s singing part 😊
Can’t wait for rest of the side characters story unfolds ❤️

Entertaining

Dakota Davies is a relatively new author I found this book to be entertaining with a good balance of suspense and romance. In fact I was surprised by a number of the twists and turns.

This is Kirilee St. Claire and Sawyer Reed’s story set in Finn River, and it was full of emotion, friendship and being there for someone who needs you, no matter what.

I liked the characters and the story was engaging. The narrators did a good job of narrating the characters in a variety of voices and brought the story to life for me, doing justice to the story that the author created.

What will happen when Kirilee stands up to her family and her overbearing jerk of a fiancé Birch? What will happen when Sawyer’s past comes back to haunt him?

Beautiful story of people finding themselves and healing together

Lovely read. I adored the powerful force and of quiet and unrelenting love. I appreciated the difficult family dynamics woven throughout this story.

Finn River is Made for Romance!!

Sawyer and Kirilee are opposites. Sawyer is escaping his past and Alaska. Kirilee’s parent own the exclusive resort Finn River Ranch and is marrying to help save the ranch. Fiance Birch is snooty and has a wandering eye.

Hot tub wishlists, encouragement, hard work, teamwork and overcoming sabotage and blackmail.
Relatable, entertaining, charming and oh so wonderful. The whole series is worth pursuing!

Excellent small-town romance!

Love Me Reckless is book 2 in the series and I have been waiting for this one for Kirilee’s story. She lives a very small, very sheltered life and has little control, but you can just tell there is a powerful woman ready to take on the world! I just love her group of close friends. Her family is in trouble and thinks her marriage will fix everything. There is way too much pressure on her from all sides, though I do really like her brother and hope to see more of him. She is engaged to the absolutely wrong man and doomed to a loveless marriage and a small life. She is resolved to this fate, until Sawyer shows her what freedom can bring and wakes her up to possibilities. Their attraction is strong and the steam is thick, but they evolve together with him showing his cinnamon roll, adorable, smexy self while letting her find her strength. Kirilee is such a lovely and loveable character who is the perfect match for the wonderful side of Sawyer that has never really been exposed or fostered in this way. They are both sort of broken in different ways and the light shines in them once they let it! I really enjoyed Sawyer and Kirilee’s story and am excited for the next book in the series.

Robert Hatchet is a wonderfully talented performer who is already a favorite narrator. With every book he showcases his range to flow through characters and perfectly portray emotional depth and a powerful vocal range! Laura Horowitz is new to me with this series, so this is my second book and I’m definitely hooked! I have added her to my “Faveylist". Not only does she have a lovely voice, but her range carries you through the story with different characters and situations, matching Robert Hatchet to perform the story beautifully! I will definitely be listening to more of her work in the future. Great casting!!

Love it!

Sawyer is Zack from book one friend and Kirilee is Sophie's friend. Love how Sawyer becomes friends with Kirilee and show her that she can do what she wants. I didn't like how in the beginning Kirilee is when it comes to doing things even something as simple as hanging out with her friends which I can't understand how she has any since anytime she is not near her family everyone panics over an incident that happened when she was six. I think her mom is over dramatic. With the help of Sawyer, Kirilee slowly get a backbone and starts living. There is a part where Sawyer sings and OMG the narrator has a really good singing voice. This was a good entertaining story. You not only get the friendship that forms between these two that forms into something more but then someone from Sawyer's past show up and tries to ruin everything. Can't wait for the next couple in this series.

Wonderful feel good story

Sawyer and Kirilee are absolutely the sweetest! While I didn’t read the first book in the series I still loved this one so much! I will be running to read the first! I adore the way that Sawyer was there for Kirilee no matter what. He knew what could happen and he was there for her anyway. Watching Kirilee step out of her shell was so refreshing. Seeing her take charge of her life and her happiness made me smile! Robert Hatchet and Laura Horowitz were the perfect fit for narration!! This audio will be put in my “listen again” category for sure!

This is a beautifully written love story and it melted my heart. From the moment I started listening to this story I knew it was something special but it was only when the characters were still with me long after the final chapter did I realise just how special it was.
