Definately different

This is definitely not what I expected by reading the title. A mother telling her daughter about how she met her husband before the daughter gets married. I thought it would be romantic but it turns out to be a thriller. I was very surprised by it all. If you want to hear something out of the normal, this is your story. The reader is very British also which I am not used to hearing while reading a book. She does a good job.

Love triangle or Bermuda triangle

I think this was the first book in Laura Burton's Love Me series but I listened to it last. While they can be read out of order, it was hinted at in Love Me Darling that the characters in this story had a difficult time getting together. Without giving anything away, I can say that one of male characters was definitely not right in the head.
This is a clean romance that will keep you guessing and will hold your attention.

Good story, mediocre narrator

I really enjoyed this clean, suspenseful romance. The story was very enjoyable. Unfortunately the narrator wasn’t the most intriguing to listen to. The narration lacked inflection and variation.

A romantic suspense with a twist

I wasn’t sure what to expect at the start of this book, but it was surprisingly good! This is Audrey’s story, as told to her own daughter on her wedding day, about the strangest love triangle that almost ended badly for Audrey. There were sections of the book that had me howling with laughter! Audrey’s mom is a hoot! The narrator put so much heart into her performance that I felt as if I was watching a movie.
Definitely recommend and is on my re-listen list!

A nervous bride hears her mother recount meeting her father

I had a hard time liking the main character. She seemed pretty helpless and I felt the narrators voice even conveyed that idea. I did enjoy all the fun British tidbits.

Love story full of intrigue

Story: 4.5

Wow! That book was a roller coaster of uncertainty. It was a really good plot and kept pulling me deeper and deeper into the intrigue and wondering if our heroine would ever escape! Well-done, Ms. Burton!

(I took away half a star because there are some detailed descriptions that do absolutely nothing to further the plot or to help us delve deeper into a character. They aren’t bad, or anything, just superfluous.)

Narrator: 4 stars

Very good voice, good inflections, good cadence. I’d happily listen to this narrator again! Well-done, Ms. Kaye

Love Me, Crazy

Love Me, Crazy, is ok just a little slow its is well written and has a great narration by Tara-Louise Kaye, it just didn't really do it for me to be honest
