Fathers can be a curse

Lord Gerard's father is awful. His gambling addiction has ruined the family & suddenly he has to marry a stranger to pay off the debts. Layla's father is not much better as a father. He agrees to a marriage of convenience so she is forced to marry a stranger who thinks she is a child. How they fall in love is different but enjoyable to read. I loved Ms. Putt as she has a lovely Scottish accent that is just perfect for reading this story.
