Publisher's Summary

Andrea Peterson gave her heart to Lance Foster. She knew him before he was famous. She started dating him when he was waiting tables for a living. She was there for him through one failed audition after another. Then, the minute he got a taste of acting success, Lance broke her heart.

After that Andrea becomes determined never to date another actor again. That's a hard enough promise to keep in an actor-filled city like Los Angeles. The true test comes, however, when she meets a handsome new stranger who catches her eye like never before. When Andrea finds out this new man is an actor, she begins to wonder: Is the past doomed to repeat itself, or will things be different this time?

Sweet romance

After listening to some very angsty books, it is always good to come back and cleanse my mind. This story by Becca Davidson does that for me. A sweet romance, Love Makes a Comeback features two people, Andrea and Daniel who both have had bad luck with relationships. There is a quality about each as they look for their soulmate that is endearing and it's hard to understand why they are still alone! We get a small glimpse of their everyday life and how hard it is to find their match. Both characters have had dates, but nothing connects. There is definitely some humor laced in with the dates that Daniel goes on. I love that Davidson sneaks in the computer dating, it seems that is now the norm of meeting people, and it's fun to see how the result turns out. If you are looking for a sweet story, this will fit the bill!

Rebecca Richards has a pleasing voice, though at times I had difficulty distinguishing between characters. Her pace was perfect though, and her inflections and emotional readings were spot on for this story.

What a journey this book was!

I really enjoyed listening to this book. The story had lots of twists and turns. The narrator took a little greeting used to and spoke rather quickly, but by the end I liked her. I recommend this book about Daniel ans Andrea. You would have thought they would give up on love with the things they went through, but they didn't, they just kept searching for each other.

A pleasant contemporary Hollywood Romance

Love Makes a Comeback is a sweet contemporary Hollywood romance about second chances. This is a pleasant story that makes a light diversion for a few hours.

The narrator does a very nice job bringing the story to life.

I received a complimentary copy of this audiobook. This is my honest and voluntary review.

Sweet Second Chance Romance

I liked the plot to this romance. I liked Daniel and Andrea a lot. I wasn't a huge fan of Lance. I thought some of the dates that Daniel endured were comical. I am not sure what his people were thinking when they set him up. I liked that it was a modern or contemporary romance. I have not previously read or listened to any books by this author but I would read or listen to another book. The narrator was alright. I think she did a decent job of bringing all the characters to life for the most part. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good contemporary Christian romance or are looking for a quick audio book to listen.

FINDING RIGHT PERSON

Andrea and Daniel, one thing they had in common from the beginning, was the self center people the first time, they were in a relationship. It is a slow moving story, where you feel the emotion, tenderness, and the deep lost, they both felt. Nice enjoyable read, about waiting to find the right person , and a relationship that works for both of them.

Good HEA

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request, via Audiobook Boom, and have voluntarily left this review." This story took a lot of twists to get to the main plot. The narrator was good and carried the story well. But each chapter seemed disjointed until the final two chapters. I was not sure where the author was going at first but what she got to in the end was very good. Andrea and her sister both got their HEA and it all turned out well.
