Publisher's summary

Some people have monsters for a boss, but not everyone has an undead Necromancer Lord at the office.

Lily has been the Lich's secretary ever since his evilness took over the company. She loves her job, but she's got some questions about her boss. Like what's under that cloak of ever-billowing.

Her wondering intensifies when one day the Lich needs something from her that isn't just scheduling appointments—but a shiver. He needs it for a spell, but it feels like it crosses a line from their usual workplace banter.

After her contributions to his dark rituals become more than OSHA compliant, she starts to contemplate whether the Lich Lord returns her feelings, or still only sees her as his secretary. Lily may have given him her body, but he never asked for her heart.

Contains mature themes.

Interesting concept badddddd acting

this actor is positively awful. sorry reading all male lines like a grandpa is the least attractive and super distracting. Also everything was read with this strange cadence every line ending with the same little tone. I feel bad for saying it but the audio ruined this for me

A fav

I love this series. I read it a while back and am excited to see it continue. It is short and sweet and so fun. The narrator does an ok job, I don’t expect many women to have a “growly” voice or to be able to execute that. So I don’t have a problem with her lich. Her aroused voice was a little too young girl for me though but otherwise I think she did a good job. If you’re looking for an in depth, extreme angst saga, this isn’t it. But if you’re looking for a sweet sexy quickie this one’s the one.

Working stiff takes on new meaning

For a title boasting Love, Laugh, Lich, this was light on the first two. The story lays out a funny sort of undead Office Space, and Lily has a feisty personality, but Lord Lich spends most of the book silent and billowy inside his cloak. There’s no action or mystery, so the story lives or dies on the romance. Unfortunately, Lord Lich is a rather bland undead stiff. There’s no banter, menace, or steam from his end. All that he’s got going for him is multiple Johnsons. That makes for an interesting gimmick, but all that extra rigor-mortis failed to excite.
Worth it on sale, and for a chuckle worthy idea. Not so great as sexy shorts go.
