I have to chuckle, because the world tends to want to discount and push away the elderly, but Emily and Genevieve aren’t so easily pushed around. And Alma’s twin sister, who passed away, evidently knew her own mind up until the very end. Genevieve and Alma’s great nephew, Sean, a brilliant (if sometimes misguided) attorney sees himself as the guardian and protector of his great aunts, both physically and financially, yet his own emotional scars have left him ill equipped for the task. And this brings us to sweet Molly Wright, the new tenant and buyer of Lilac Cottage, bookkeeper, hard worker and standing on her own two feet, despite a past riddled with sadness and abandonment.
