Excellent book and Fantastic Narration

This book is very well written and has Excellent narration with spot on Scottish accents. Loved the storyline and excited to start the next book! After reading around 200 shifter books, this one is one of my top choices.

Maybe a little like Bitten from Kelley Armstrong; just the fell, but this is unique.

What does Skylar Summers bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She creates a nice flow to the story, and did a great job of bringing the characters to life.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I really loved it! The story is the type of story I can immerse myself in, and the writing really drew me in!

This was really wonderful and great!! I totally loved this! The story feels so full and complete, and the story was interesting right from the opening scene! Lost in Vengeance has suspense, love, mystery, and H.R. Savage did an excellent job with wolf shifters; something I have read a lot of books about, but Savage's story felt unique and new to me. The story is intriguing, and the writing is top notch. Cat is a dynamic character, and at times I just wanted to shake some sense into her, but she's also strong. The romance is a slow burn, but once it gets going, woo! it's a hot one! Cat and Killian have some heat! Killian is terrific too, and when he turns on his alphaness, Ooo boy! that was some sexy stuff! I loved that both Cat and Killian already are part of the wolf shifter world, so that wasn't a problem for the two, and I actually would've loved if there were even a few more scenes with the shifters in wolf form. It's always such fun when the shifters are in their animal form. I even loved the complexity of the villains! I also listened to this book in audio form, and the narrator did a really great job, and I think she did a good job of bringing the story to life. I'll definitely be reading the next book in this series, and any other books by H.R. Savage!

Couldn't Finish

I received a copy of this in exchanged for an honest review. I tried over several months to finish this. I managed to get 7 hours into it before giving up. It's not a bad story. I just couldn't bring myself to care about what happens to the heroine. The characters, including the hero, are interesting. Maybe if the author got to the suspense of the story quicker, I may have been able to hang in there longer? I don't know. I just expect more from shifter stories.
