Parts of this book are a little darker than you’re used to from Susi Hawke, but an HEA and all the laughs, naughty-knotty times, and shmoopy feels that you’d expect are definitely included! This book is about 48,000 words.

Strong narrative

The story is excellent! John solo as a narrator is pretty amazing. The man knows his craft.! I’ll prolly finish the rest of the series now

Healthy Relationship

Kyle and Dallas are funny and sweet together. I love that Dallas is focused on health and fitness but doesn't need Kyle to change anything about himself. Dallas wants him just as he is. Kyle isn't used to anyone wanting him like that and finds it hard to believe. I enjoy how his confidence grows over the course of the story. I really love all of Dallas's family and enjoy this series immensely, in large part due to the sibling relationships
The narrator does a good job, though some of the voices and accents seem a little over the top. I'm a Texas girl, though, so I might be a bit harsh. Overall, I did enjoy his performance, as I usually do. (His portrayal of Lucas is still my favorite in this series!)
I've really enjoyed the first two audiobooks in this series, and I look forward to the next.

loving this series

I am so digging this series. The brothers are so cool. While in my opinion, the first book was a tiny bit better, this one was great.

I liked how the author touched on how domestic abuse affects a person's self worth. You would not believe how many people in this day and age still get caught up in abusive situations.

I did smile a lot while listening to this book. I am looking forward to hearing book 3.

Size doesn't matter

I really love this story. Kyle is a big omega but Dallas doesn't care. What he cares about is keeping Kyle safe, happy, and healthy. As an abused omega, Kyle has so little faith in himself and doubts anything good that comes to him, despite Dallas, his brothers, and their friends telling him otherwise.

Dallas has such patience and care with Kyle that it really was just a matter of time until he could convince Kyle of his worth. I'm so glad these two find their happily ever after.

I can't wait for Houston's story because John does such a good job with them and Houston is my favorite of the brothers.

Love this story!

Lost in Dallas is book Two in The Lone Star Brothers series by Susi Hawke. Dallas has been trying to get a date with Kyle for two years. But Kyle doesn't believe a hot Alpha like Dallas would truly desire an omega who looks like him - tall with a little extra on the scale. ...plus Dallas is his boss and Kyle is dating someone already - even though the cop he lives with is an abusive user.
When the abuse goes too far and Kyle lands in the hospital, Dallas offers up his home and friendship. When an unexpected heat takes over Kyle, Dallas also offers up his body... And a surprise awaits them.

Dallas is the loving and sexy Alpha and helps Kyle get stronger and start to love the body he's in. Together they are the perfect mix of sweetness and sexiness. And the other guys in this book are absolutely amazing characters that have you laughing and loving the story.

John Solo does sn amazing job narrating this story. Each character has their own voice which brings them to life for the listener, helps keep track of which character is talking and helps the listener get deep into the story.

I am voluntarily leaving my honest review and recommendation.
