Sydney--I usually go for the guys, but this is the story of Sydney's change and what that means to her life. Kade did what he promised never to to do. Turn her. Still she loves him but hates what she is. A real struggle.

Interesting

This is the first time I read this series. I love it. Interesting characters strong independent women. With magic in the mix makes a very good story.

A DELICIOUS DRAMA FILLED JAW DROPPING NOVELLA

Poor Kade is pulling his hair out...... the love of his immortal life, Sydney, is not coming to terms with being a Vampire because she thinks the Demon has done something to her, because of jealousy and because she doesn't want to bite anyone. He's slowly but surely losing her and is desperate then, when Luca made a suggestion that coincided with a call from her human ex Detective Partner Anthony, a plan formed that just might work. But there was far worse to come because a cunning, vicious, sadistic Murderer is free from Prison and he's coming for Syd who doesn't stand a chance against him in the weak state she's presently in.

This may only be a Novella but, for any fan of the series, or Kym Grosso's style of writing, then this is a must listen because, despite it being only 4 hrs 37 mins long, it packs one Hell of a punch. There's the turmoil over Syd not feeding, the emotional effects that has on both her and Kade's strong, unwavering and loving relationship, kidnapping and suspense along with mega twists as the Murderer finally strikes. Included are some juicy sex scenes too. This is a dual POV listen that'll leave you gasping for book number 7 and, once again, I'm in awe of Ryan West's flawless narration.

Worth a credit? Well I'll come clean here..... I did waiver a bit in using a credit for a Novella and hovered for a while over the Add To Cart button but I shouldn't have worried - it's Kym, it's the Immortals Of New Orleans, it's about Syd and Kade and it's Ryan West.... enough said!
