A Range of Outdoor and Inner Adventures

Thank you for vicariously taking me along with you on your various adventures! Although I sometimes found the reading a bit too fast for such contemplative pieces, they were all very interesting, descriptive, well paced, and beautifully written!

So interesting to read!

Great read. Each story was a snapshot in time, some funny, some wise, and all beautiful. A must read for anyone who loves to travel or those who love to travel from the comfort of their couch. I highly recommend.

Travel the world

Lost Angel Walkabout is a superb collection comprised of 30 travel essays lovingly written by Linda Ballou.
With her spirit of adventure, an open eye towards the natural beauties of the world around us and with the uncanny talent for vivid descriptions, Linda Ballou invites us to travel the world with her. From a dangerous trek up river in the wilderness of Alaska, to a scenic train ride in the old American West, to a horse riding adventure in Ireland, her journeys are thought-provoking and extremely entertaining.

The audiobook version of Lost Angel Walkabout is enthusiastically performed by the talented LeAnn Pashina. She uses her friendly voice and significant narration skills to help the listener immerse themselves completely into these remarkable adventures. From the first minute I was blown away by the attention to details offered by both author and narrator in regards to how things are presented to us.

LeAnn did a fantastic job in bringing to life all the characters and locations in Lost Angel Walkabout. I consider her to be the best choice for this collection.

With a runtime of almost 5 hours, Lost Angel Walkabout is a great example of how non-fiction adventures can become a realistic way for us to travel the world, to learn about new amazing places and interesting cultures. In a year when we were stuck at home for the most part, Lost Angel Walkabout is a breath of fresh air, a portal that will transport the listener to new exotic locations.
