Es al Rey David a quien se atribuyen los Salmos, y es posible que haya compuesto algunos de ellos, pero sea quien sea el autor o los autores, lo cierto es que esta coleccion de poesia liturgica ha sido una de las grandes inspiraciones del hombre y muestra de su deseo de acercarse a la divinidad a traves de la oracion. Los Salmos incluyen toda suerte de ocasiones y ellos han dado a traves de los siglos fortaleza y fe a quienes los han conocido.

It is to King David to whom the biblical book of Psalms are attributed, and it is possible that he created some of them. The sublimity of its expression and its great variety has made of the Psalms one of the most loved of all biblical books. Whoever is the author or the authors the truth is that this collection of liturgical poetry has been one of the greatest inspirations of man.
