Publisher's summary

Being on loan to the FBI has its advantages, and for the first time in far too long, Mark is taking a few weeks off with his family. But he's barely gotten started when he finds his brother unwittingly entangled in a mess that can be traced directly back to an attempt on Mark's life some months ago.

An attempt that left something unexpected behind.

And now that one loose end has started to fray into many and Mark must hurry to tie them all up, before unscrupulous drug dealers, power hungry witches, and even unwitting competitors of his brother's biotech company, unleash a power that could destroy hundreds, if not thousands of innocent lives.

Keep them coming! This is the best!

This is the absolute best of the series. You get the action that you have come to expect PLUS you get to meet Mark’s family; the wives, kids, siblings and mother. If things continue, Mark will have a compound with FBI friends as in-laws. Family is the theme for this story. Protecting, growing and putting boundaries on family members.

The sinister part of the story is picked up from the previous book. That big fight in the airplane has Mark and friends driving and flying around throwing holy water at burnt flesh.

There is a growing awareness among the biotech population of a powerful talisman with immense potential. There is killing to get it and killing to sustain its’ life. Mark and friends being the only ones who can correctly name it as demons.

If I get to much background, I would have to give a few spoilers, which I will not do. What I will say, please read the other stories before you start this one.

Another Excellent Read!

This is the final book in this series which is sad because there is so much potential in these characters and this book world. I love these characters and I love this story line. And Doug Tisdale Jr’s narration is top rate! I wish there were more I will undoubtedly return to this series again and again!
