Publisher's summary

Michelle Strempel firmly believes that she isn’t worthy of being loved. After her fiancé of almost three years tells her he’s got to break off their engagement, she decides to take matters into her own hands. With all the hours she’s spent planning a wedding, she’s going to have one on the day she’s planned. So she contacts Dr. Lachele Simpson from Matchrimony.

Seth Henderson has no time to find a bride, but when he sees how happy his best friend, Daniel Axford, is with his new wife, he wants the same thing. He asks for a sweet little thing just like his friend received for a bride. When he meets Michelle, he can tell she’s got an inner strength that surprises him. Will he be able to get past her fears that she’s unlovable? Or will they spend the rest of their lives in a loveless marriage?

A wonderful story!

Kirsten Osbourne writes books that make you smile and sigh. This book brings together Seth, Daniel's best friend from Blushing in Boston, and Michelle, who may have a love affair with Mickey Mouse!

Tiffany Williams brings life to the written word and you cannot help but fall in love with these stories!

Seth & Michelle!

There is something to say about the matchmaking abilities of some people and this purple haired matchmaker is spot on! Michelle is dumped by her long time fiance and still has all the wedding arrangements in place. Rather than put her life on hold, she decides to call a matchmaker for a husband willing to marry at first sight. Seth is looking for his soulmate like his best friend has and uses Dr Simpson too. When Michelle and Seth kiss at the alter, sparks fly. But is this enough for love and marriage? I think this book was very entertaining. Being a huge Disney fan, the whole theme for Michelle resonated with me! I love their spats and obstacles of first getting to know each other..the Berlin Wall, a broken engagement, all things leading to their success with good communication. It's a heart warming story and now we need Seth's brother Slade!

Tiffany Williams is amazing with this series. I love her voice, it's warm and has that loving sound. She gives Michelle and Brenda some fun and easily has distinguishable voicing. Her men are just as good as she tells us the story.

Short and Sweet

I love these little novellas from Kirsten Osborne. Short, sweet, sometimes a little corny and not a lot of angst. I’ve listened to several of these “meeting at the altar” books and always find them a nice break.

Seth and Michelle are my favorite by far

I love the At the Altar series. I cannot get enough of Dr. Lachele Simpson's matchmaking ability. Michelle is dumped right before her wedding and decides instead of losing all the money deposited, she will seek a man who is willing to marry at first sight. Dr. Lachele Simpson hits the mark when she sends Seth to Michelle. Full of fun and laughs and even some struggles, Seth and Michelle meet up with other couples matched by Dr. Lachele Simpson. I loved hearing about the other couples and where they are now. This is a feel good story that shows you do not need love at first to have a great relationship.sometimes arranged marriages can work.

Tiffany WIlliams narrates this story perfectly. She has an easy voice to listen to. She always amazes me with her many different tones to keep the characters distinct and easy to follow. With Ms. WIlliams narration, it feels as if I am a part of the conversation. I cannot wait to listen to the next one.

Modern Day Mail Order Bride

This was a fun audiobook. It was a refreshing change up how it would be if we had mail order type services today. And who wouldn't love a Disney honeymoon?? Lol. I enjoyed this very much.

It was decent

I felt that the narrator did a pretty good job.
The story itself was okay, i felt it maybe was a bit too boring for me personally, but it was still written well.

Married at first glance

A fun story with a happy ending. I loved the instant attraction and the fun honeymoon, where I actually had my honeymoon too. A very enjoyable story. I received a complimentary audio and this review is voluntary.
