It's been so hard to find any information on Sigyn in my research as a Heathen, and it feels even harder to find not just Loki information, but inclusive Heathen writing at all. I'm very pleased to say this book has met and surpassed my expectations. Highly recommend.

Wonderful and insightful

Wonderful and insightful work on the story of Loki and Sigyn. Beautifully written, easily understandable- great all around. I really enjoyed this and I'll be sure to referance it in my practice down the line.

A reimagining of the mythology for modern-day liberals.

If you're looking for a millennial/genZ opinion about the mythology, through the lens of woke, LGBTQ ideology, with feminist style commentary, this is for you. Self-described heathens, creating an accepting community, thats a safe space for those looking to get in touch with their polytheistic roots.

Beautiful and thoughtful

This work has several parts. It begins introducing Loki and Sigyn, their lore and basic facts. It introduces community history, of heathenry and of Loki’s role in it. The author via personal experience and group work describes her thoughts and actions related to the pair. It’s beautiful and heartfelt and as a person who’s recently found Loki it is a profoundly important read for me. The author narrates cleanly and with wit, coy enthusiasm and pure joy for her topic. I am in love with this book and will likely be returning to it again soon.

I greatly enjoyed this audiobook.

It was great having a book focus on this dynamic duo. A very interesting perspective on the stories, similar to my own! Also some information on Lokean Heathenism

Great but

I loved it, but there’s become a trend where the author talks about gender that didn’t have to be addressed because. When Loki and Thor dressed up and made themselves women, the author talk about how this could be shown as there’s no gender, and they can become whatever they want. The whole point of the story was to fool the other gods, to go in disguise. Neither Loki or Thor or claiming to be anything they were still Loki and Thor but in disguise. Not everything has to be put into gender issues, but overall it was a great book.
