Got it for free, it was OK

Worth checking out but format won't appear to all. Gets a bit draining after a while.

Several pronunciation issues, the most annoying and prevalent of which was "sidduations" instead of situations. A few others like "taroT" cards. The t is usually not pronounced.

Lists at end make no sense being read off. He is pretty hard on Christians but seems to be one. I agree with other reviewers that the sales pitches throughout could be dropped.

Important topic not suited for audio format.

This is an important topic but does not work well as an audiobook. For this intersected I would recommend text format.

Logic in bite-sized pieces

This collection of fallacies was educational and entertaining -often a rarity in books on the subject. It gave a clear voice performance, a hearty sampling of every day fallacies & true-believer fallacies, and even named some fallacies that are common enough that they deserve names even though they may receive less attention elsewhere. I may try other fallacy collections, but would not be surprised to find this the finest collection of mass distributed, affordable audiotomes. My only complaint is that he didn't go after Islam with even a third, even a fifth, of the contention that he mustered against Christianity for it's adherents common fallacies.

A heading is required.

Loved it. Only thing wrong with it is that it moves so fast. Quota fulfilled.

Pretty good!

This is one of those books that I'm tempted to grab a hard cover copy of because I think the way that it's visually laid out might help me process it better. It reads very much like an encyclopedia. It has great points to make and helps you see the world and conversations around you in a different light almost right away. He throws in some wonderful humor too!

better as paper I'm sure

as a reference I'm sure this is excellent, but the short sections of a few minutes each means that there really isn't enough time to absorb any information. I suppose it could be a good way to increase your vocabulary of fallacies and quickly get an idea of what to look for, but if you want a serious study of logic, persuasion, debate or conversation then this is not it.

Incredibly Informative

This is a very well thought explanation of many fallacies. The author appears to be an atheist, thus he may not receive favorable reviews from theist listeners. However, if you need to learn the art of distinguishing logical arguments from fallacies, this is an incredibly good book. I highly recommend it.
