When Owen Carter and Andre Brooks, lovers and partners from Kansas City, opened their jewelry store in Laramie, Wyoming, they were excited for the new beginning and the bright future they saw for themselves in this thriving old west town. Locke Adair likes to keep to himself most of the time. He misses their home on the Shetland Islands more than most of his brother dragons and has always liked just to do his own thing. To keep connected with his people and the community, he forces himself out of his shell and down the mountain for some quality time with Clan Keith. On this trip, he hears of a problem in the business community, a human dispute that was getting ugly fast. Always ready to lend a hand, Locke figured he could deal with this problem pretty quickly. The power of a Dragon Knight was something to behold. What he doesn’t expect to find is that at the center of this dangerous drama, the two men, the two lovers were his fated mates. These were the two men promised to him by destiny. What looked like a simple job just got very, very complicated.
