When you are looking after your child who has autism, do not look at the act of taking care of yourself as being selfish because it definitely is a necessity. When you are able to strengthen yourself emotionally, you will be able to become the best parent to your child who needs you. This is about Autism, not Autistic Spectrum Disorder
Know what you are getting, if its ASD you are interested in, this isn't the book for you. That isnt clear until about chapter 4. But the early chapters should send alarm bells to anyone who knows even the smallest amount about ASD.
