Answering those questions motivated Living Divinely. Using my journey, I share how I became a fully devoted follower of Jesus. Sharing stories from my past and the people who went the extra mile to show love to a young girl, I detail my path to divine living. Raised in a Christian home, I always knew Jesus, but I didn’t understand what it truly meant to live for Him. When my father passed the summer between my junior and senior year of high school, I turned my back on God, blaming Him for taking my hero from me and causing me such heart-wrenching pain.

Floundering, seeking solace in drugs and alcohol, I spent seven years getting a four-year degree. Lost and without direction, I didn’t know what to do once I fulfilled my promise to my mother, finally getting my diploma. But then a friend helped me get a job as a flight attendant, and my life found a new path to follow, one I never dreamed I would take. From the moment I boarded the plane for the interview until the day I left, God placed people in my life that drew me back to Him.

Living Divinely will encourage you on your journey by providing real stories from the battlefield of life, helping you experience God’s handiwork. When we take the focus off ourselves and place it on Jesus, we’ll start to see His actions in our lives. One late-night conversation with a pilot whose last name I can’t remember changed my thinking and let me know, for the first time in a long time, that God hadn’t forgotten me.

Thirty years ago, I began my adult life as a flight attendant, traveling the East Coast, meeting people worldwide, and beginning to live divinely. Flying the friendly skies brought me back to Jesus. My prayer for you, as you turn the pages or swipe the screen of this book, remains the same as always. I pray it will draw you into a deeper relationship with Jesus and help you learn to live divinely.
