The ending gave me goosebumps!

I balked a little at paying a full credit for such a short story but I needed something new from them and it was worth it. Great addition to this universe and wonderful foreshadowing throughout.

Great novella

Another solid work from this author. Although it is just a short novella, and not nearly as epic as some of his other books, it is definitely worth a listen.

Amazing perspective shift

Masterful short story that is worth exploring for a full novel itself. Reminds me of their story Drive. The epic endings leave me speechless.

Excellent military sci-fi short story

Enthralling tale of a soldier's life after he's been bonded to a battle suit. His normal emotions have been suppressed, helping him focus on his missions and being an implacable warrior. However, he also, vaguely, considers if this course of action has lost him his humanity.

Very good sifi story.

Story holds your interest and pulls you in. End story was inevitable but still a bit of a surprise.

I did not see the twist coming

I'm normally pretty quick to pick up the twist that's coming later in the story. not this time. wow I normally don't buy the novellas but this one was definitely worth it.

Anderson Mays for the win

I enjoyed this story, and I think this was an excellent first Novella in the new series. But honestly, it’s the most for me is Anderson Mays’ narration. If it is an expanse or an expanse, adjacent audiobook, it has to be narrated by Anderson Mays. He brings the life to these characters as much, so if not more than, the pages do.
