An interview with Tim - Not the actual audiobooks

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

A better description and title for the book is required to set expectations.

Would you ever listen to anything by Tim Ferriss again?

Yes - I do really like Tim Ferriss, however I feel like I got more content out of his weekly free podcasts and the actual books.

Any additional comments?

This audiobook is an interview with Tim and not the actual audiobooks (which would be 8+ hours instead of this 1 hour) - something you may suspect based on the price. The sound quality is a bit poor due to the presence of a live audience in the background. If you enjoy listening to Tim Ferriss and want to hear an interview on the books you will liekly not be disappointed.

Beware - NOT the actual book, just an interview

While this was kinda interesting, I was very disappointed to note that it's just an hour long interview, not the book you're expecting. Misleading title.

Ferriss for the win

Really great "summary" of the two books. In this hour long interview, you really get to hear Ferriss's personality and hear the LOVE that this dude embodies. Great guy, looking forward to reading his books next! (The audio of the female in this recoding has some really high tones and is very hard to listen to. I was changing the volume knob frequently to hear Tim and avoid loud sounds from the interviewer.) Other than that, great content!!

Very useful.

It's was condensed and gave a great over view of the 4-hour books which of course are encyclopedias of details.

Convinced me to get 4-Hour Body

I always enjoy listening to Tim speak. He’s incredibly smart but unpretentious and seems to genuinely care about making people’s lives better.

Very easy to digest

It is short and to the point, very enjoyable to listen.

He gives a few references and online addresses toward the end, you may want to have pen and paper handy to write them down.

Lousy audio levels

Production value of audio levels was very poor. Volume bounced from almost inaudible to BOOMING throughout the recording. Perhaps the production studio could invest in better audio compression equipment or a more skilled engineer or both.

Review from a critic

the recording is more about Tim than his book nonetheless it's worth listening to a couple of times to get the nuggets that are there.

Not the 4-Hour Work Week

Any additional comments?

This is Ferriss promoting his book, NOT the book itself. So you are just paying for him to sell you the book. Great

Was more like a podcast / interview

Sounded like something you probably would have found for free on youtube / podcast, but still interesting.

poor sound

the sound quality was so poor that I kept having to go back to hear his response to questions. I might have liked the content if I could hear it.
