I was hesitant about this book but found I thoroughly enjoyed this look into life on the road for touring bands and their teams of assistants. Getting the background on why some of the band members expressed themselves by occasionally trashing things was eye opening as is just how little glamour there is in travelling from one venue to another and even from one country to another.
Some experiences were scary and some hilarious.
There's a lot more grit, patience and often, quick thinking, behind "the show must go on".
The narrator has an interesting voice and I will look for more of her work.
