Publisher's summary

Lily, the second daughter of banker Fred Sullivan, is finally of age and ready to marry. She's been in love with Daniel Olafsen since the age of 12, when she fell out of a tree...and onto him. Unfortunately for Lily, she believes Daniel is in love with her sweetly feminine older sister, Rose.

Lily's not ready to accept defeat, though, and she curbs her tomboyish ways in an effort to make Daniel fall in love with her. But will he ever be able to see Lily for who she truly is? Or will she have to change for the man she loves to win him?

Lily Finds Love

I was excited to hear Lily's story after knowing she had a crush on Daniel since she was young, involving a tree and a shoe! Yes you have to find out! Lily is the tomboy of the girls and loves to wear pants and go fishing so she is the total opposite of Rose her older sister who all the boys adored.
Daniel asked her to marry him when she turned 18 and she could not have been happier!
Follow the ups and downs of Daniel and Lily as they try to build their new life together! Emma Lysy again was perfect for these stories and brings the characters alive! Cannot wait to hear about Amaryllis!

Feisty heroine and second chance at love for hero.

This is such a fun and romantic novel. I have read it many times, but with the audiobook I felt like the story was brand new. Emma Lysy is an excellent narrator and brings a different twist to some lines with an interpretation of them in a way that was different from how I had understood them. I liked the dimension to the book that added. This is the story of a girl gettting the man she always wanted but then questioning her luck. I love the moral of being true to oneself that is brought out in it. (I was provided with an audiobook to review.)
