Should not be sold as an AUDIO book

I don't have a problem with a workout book, I like workouts. I chose this book due to the cover, and it appeared to me to be a more mind than body focus. It's actually more body, which would be fine if I could access the workouts on the PDF. The PDF only shows the moves, so apparently I have to find the spot in the audio book to listen to the order and times of the exercise?? What the... I dunno. My bad, I could really use a hard copy, my laptop is junk and even if the workouts themselves were on the PDF where can I print the 65 pages??? That's a sh.. ton of ink and paper

Get the mind right and the body will follow.

What made the experience of listening to Lifted the most enjoyable?

Lifted is a great book on it's own but hearing Holly speak is like having a best friend and wellness coach in the room with you. She is highly motivating.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Lifted?

A 5'4" woman with a dream to become a professional basketball player that she turns into a reality. A goal is a dream with a plan. She is focused on results and how to get there with setting specific goals.

Not applicable.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Not an extreme reaction, but again, Holly's advice and knowledge is like having your best friend there looking out for you.

This book is not like all the other diet and fitness books out there. It is so much more. While there is a great workout plan and recipes (which are available as a download with the audio book), Holly focuses on mind and spirit more that most books on fitness. Get the mind right and the body will follow.

Needs better PDF

I was one of those who did not expect the meditation aspect of her program.

What I am looking forward to is starting the workout, but having it in audio form only means you have some homework to do before you get started. The entire month workout is read to you as a list, where I have to believe it is actually beautifully laid out in text format. I believed this is what would be included in the PDF, but all that is there are BLACK AND WHITE pictures of her performing the movements and looks like a poor copy and paste job onto a word document.

I wish this either had whisper sync, or had a list of the program with the PDF. I’m buying a used copy on amazon to have certain parts more easily accessible to refer back to. I don’t feel this is a good experience as an audiobook, and to now buy a paperback would make this a $30+ book. Go to Barnes and Noble and see what you might be missing by listening only.

Awesome book!

Love the content. Very helpful and motivational info. Author does a great job of narrating and comes across as very compassionate as opposed to forcing her viewpoint. I've listened to it several times over and highly recommend to anyone.

Motivated

I loved it!
I felt it was simple to follow, made sense having everything broken down. Anyone can follow this for 28 days, there's really no excuse. I'm excited to give this program my all.
