What do you do when the same church that has helped you know Jesus as you have never known him before has also caused you and others much pain his name?

You write her a love letter in which you call her to continue reforming herself by abandoning her deformed characteristics that interfere with her desire to glorify God and to help his people know him.

This is exactly what Lies My Reformed Pastor Told Me is. If you identify as reformed, it can empower you to have a practice that is more consistent with your convictions. If you have been hurt by the reformed church, it can comfort you by showing you are not alone and that Jesus offers you something better. And if you have no idea what a reformed church is, it will protect you from dangerous errors and unnecessary pain in your own community.

Whatever your experience may be, Lies My Reformed Pastor Told Me is for you, because we all need to see Jesus ever more clearly and evaluate and constantly reevaluate our own beliefs and practices in light of him.

Content is good, and I am not Christian. Problems: 1) subject verb agreement in number (e.g., Woman” is said when “women” is correct.) 2) odd emphasis (having trouble thinking of an example. The problem with these “errors” is that the book is hard to listen to due to these things grating on my brain.
