Rock Bay: Book Two

Drew McAuliffe has lived in the small town of Rock Bay most of his adult life. He'd like to be happy, but not at the cost of having his private life under his nosy neighbors' microscope, so he keeps his bisexuality under wraps.

After a messy breakup that caused him to pack up and move to Astoria, on the Oregon coast, Mason Anderson decides to avoid drama of the romantic kind. All he wants is to start over - alone.

But Drew and Mason were meant to meet. The long looks and awkward half hellos chance offered were never going to be enough. But when they do finally come together on the worst night possible, misconceptions and problems from their pasts get in the way. Until Mason learns to trust again-and until Drew learns to let go of who he thinks he is - a real connection is nothing but a pipe dream.

Like Visiting Old Friends You Love

Like going home to visit old friends, Letting Go takes readers back to Rock Bay and re-acquaints us with the characters from book one. They are fun and sweet and full of personality, each bringing a uniqueness to the book. With the beginning of the book focused on the main character's past -Drew and Mason- it started quite slowly. If their background could've been integrated within the present-day story, the flow might've been smoother but regardless, there was so much to love about the characters. Drew and Mason's love story was sweet - their obstacles never too much for them to overcome. I enjoyed listening to the narrator bring life to the author's words, and am eager to read about more of the characters from Rock Bay.

Not as good as book 1

I think this m/m romance has got the curse of 2nd book "filler" blues! It was a good book... the whiney characteristics of both male leads were just annoying... I would return it if I wasn't so anal about having a complete set in a series!

Narration was fairly decent...

Nice sale book... Save your credit for something a bit more fulfilling... Actually I would just buy this because it's pretty cheap... Under 10 bucks!
