On a good day, she can earn enough to buy food for her family. She needs enough good days so she can pay the rent collector, Sopeap—a grumpy old woman who shows no mercy and who is willing to evict any tenant who can’t pay their rent on time. When Sang Ly is unable to pay her rent for the month, she fears her family will have to leave the dump and their shanty home.

Lived this very thought provoking book. Would be good for anyone, look into ourselves as we all age and have lived ones age. Very good life lessons to glean from this book

Lessons we need to be reminded
The poems are going straight for a home run!
It touched my heart and reminded me of the true meaning of the events that are unfolding in my life. Losing and gaining, achievements and failures! Reading this for some is just a book of poem but perhaps read it again in a quite or right time. This will go to my best books!
