Publisher's summary

An unprecedented and terrifying bioterrorism plot threatens to kill millions in the midst of a divisive presidential election in this “gut punch of a tale that exploits our greatest fears” (The Providence Journal) from the number one New York Times best-selling Mitch Rapp series

A toxic presidential election is underway in an America already badly weakened by internal divisions. While politicians focus entirely on maintaining their own power, ISIS kidnaps a brilliant French microbiologist and forces him to begin manufacturing anthrax. Slickly produced videos chronicling his progress and threatening an imminent attack are posted to the internet, intensifying the hysteria gripping the United States.

ISIS recruits a Mexican drug cartel to smuggle the bioweapon across the border, but it’s really just a diversion. The terrorist organization needs to keep Mitch Rapp and Irene Kennedy distracted long enough to weaponize a deadly virus that they stumbled upon in Yemen. If they succeed, they’ll trigger a pandemic that could rewrite the world order.

Rapp embarks on a mission to infiltrate the Mexican cartels and track down the ISIS leader who he failed to kill during their last confrontation. But with Washington’s political elite increasingly lined up against him, he knows he’ll be on his own.

Another stellar and white-knuckled pause-resister, Lethal Agent proves that “Mitch Rapp is the hero we need, maybe now more than ever” (The Real Book Spy).

I need Mitch in my life

Great job Kyle Mills! and great job George Guidall. I downloaded this book yesterday and the only bad part about it is, I've already listened to the whole thing.
The only thing better than a Mitch Rapp novel is listening to a Mitch Rapp novel narrated by Mr. Guidall. The story Kyle Mills puts together is so good it sucks you in. And the way George narrates makes you feel you're a part of it. I laugh out loud, I get nervous for the situation, I get excited when Mitch remorselessly cracks skulls.
Please don't ever stop making Mitch Rapp novels.

Rapp Must stop a Bioweapon attack!

This has the feeling of my favorite Vince Flynn’s #MitchRapp Memorial Day.
Rapp must stop a guy that he thought he had killed a while back (Enemy of the State: Mullah Sayid Halabi ). from hitting America with a bioweapon attack!
Rapp asks for and finally gets the golden ticket! He finds out the attack will be worse than anyone ever thought of! At the same time finds out the attack isn't what they thought it was. Mullah is working with the Mexican drug cartel to get it into America.
Rapp must risk everything to find a way to stop it and not get infected. While working in an area where he doesn’t know the language, the players or the climate.
If all this wasn't bad enough Rapp must deal with the politics. Even worse it's the politics of a presidential election with a senator that hates the CIA being the most likely to be the next POTUS!

The best gets better!

While I am admittedly a ridiculous fan of the Mitch Rapp series, there is simply no denying the thrill of change in a series. To see Mitch operate against the cartels is something I've longed to see, and it was done with absolute gusto! Perhaps there was more violence than is typical of our favorite shadow operatives, but the cruel understand only crueltyand Mitch Rapp speaks violence fluently.
I love the predictable villainy of the conspiring politicians, the misguided faith driven insanity of the ever changing yet ever identical nemeses, and the unfailingly brilliant support of his friends. Like mom's chicken soup, this recipe keeps me coming back to the table. Every. Single. Time.
Keep it up Kyle and George!

Narration needs work

Please find a different narrator! This guy is horrible- hard to understand, mumbles and slurs his words.
I think I’m going to read the book, instead of listening!

Way better than recent Clancy book.

Great story , captivating , held me all the way through. Loved the parallels to today's political climate and how it exposes the mind set of those politicos whose thirst for power is destroying our great country. Way better than the most recent Clancy book.
