Saved the Best for Last

I fell in love with Book 1 and unlike many authors, this one did not disappoint. each story was unique and enjoyable. this final book was the perfect ending. I appreciated the unexpected laughs and quite a few times felt myself getting a little hot and bothered. I love that normal Black women-- meaning, short, tall,, dark, light, natural, single parent, childless, etc. women can find good Black Men who genuinely love them and see them as beautiful. These books were good for my soul.

Good LordT

I think this was my favorite book of the series. Sage and Neil’s story hit a lot of hot topics that don’t get a lot of attention. It was heartfelt and heartwarming. Got damn it Uncle Leechester ass had me in tears.

Neil & Sage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This has been one of my favorites by this author. I love all her books however this one hit home. It was so relatable. I love the back story between Page and Neil. The way that Neil and Page fell in love. I would love if they had a part two to this book.

Love the spirituality

Neil is woke and I love his African spirituality. The plot is kinda fairy tales like but I overall enjoy the book. Love the narrators

Predictable. But you gotta love those McClains!

So I completely called this book, and the upcoming book about Katt in book 3 about Nolan and Bridgett. In true McClain brother fashion, there were parts that I absolutely LOVED because of them, but in true helpless, childish acting, insecure when so unnecessary lead female character fashion, I was turned off by Sage -as I was with Jo AND Kim. Bridgette was the only one who didn't really irk my nerves with that helpless damsel in distress mess.. but I digress. Anywhoo, per usual. Uncle Lee Chester made me laugh out loud- literally and this McClain brother sounds like he can give it like it needs to be given any time and any place... But unlike the 3 books before this one, the storyline fell flat for me. Other than the steamy sex scenes, this book didn't make me feel any type of way and it was extremely predictable.

Hate when these end!

I've loved every single McClain Brother story and I just can't get enough. I laugh out loud, my mouth drops open at times, and I even yell in my car while listening lol. And those are my favorite 2 narrators! I want me a McClain brother just based on voice alone lol.
