Let Love In

Dr. Maria DeLuca’s twenty-one-year-old sister Emma is going on a mission trip to Costa Rica—a trip Maria is against. Emma calls five months later and announces she’s marrying a man she has just met. Worried her sister is making a terrible mistake, Maria takes a leave of absence from her residency at a New York City hospital to fly to Emma’s side, hoping to stop her.

Dr. Felipe Markos moved to Costa Rica to get away. He’s a skilled doctor from Greece who is wonderful with his patients, but somewhat rough around the edges with everyone else. No one knows the story of why he left Greece five years ago, and according to Felipe, no one ever will.

When their paths cross, feelings surface that they’ve both pushed aside for years. Knowing he is close to Emma’s fiancé, Maria tries to befriend him, but he doesn’t make it easy. Will she have to come to terms with the fact that they must avoid each other every time she visits Emma, or will things turn around for them?
