Publisher's Summary

From USA Today best-selling author Tawna Fenske comes the second book in the Juniper Ridge series performed by Jason Clarke and Erin Mallon!

How the hell did I end up on TV faking like I’m not falling for the world’s sexiest shrink?

Yeah, I agreed to live at an old cult compound and let cameras tail me around, but a plotline about a grumpy single dad finding love? Big nope. All I want is a brewery to run and a fresh start with my daughter. Just toss me the keys, keep the psych sessions short, and remind me again why I can’t fall for Dr. Mari Judson.

At least I’m not alone. She’s as thirsty as I am for what’s brewing between us, but Mari runs scared when we get close. Something’s stopping her, and a woman with secrets is a recipe for heartache. Trust me, I know.

Blame her sexy brain, her quirky parrot, or the way my kid adores her, but I can’t quit chasing Mari. It’s bound to blow up like a can of Kolsch tossed down the stairs, so why can’t we stay apart?

And why do I think the good doc is hiding something huge?

I was excited to see another book in the Juniper Ridge series, I really like that the series it set in a private town made for a Reality TV Set and that it's ran by brothers and sisters. Very original! When I started and realized this was Mari the Psychiatrist and Griffin the Brew Master I knew I was going to love it cause I have a huge weakness for single dads. I am not a huge fan of drama which I was worried about because of the secrets but thankfully it was quick. The best part for me was the parrot, I laughed a lot! Can't wait for the next book!

Narration was perfect, Erin Mallon & Jason Clark are both fantastic narrators!

Great romcom with stellar narration

I so enjoyed Let It Show, the second trip back to Juniper Ridge by Tawna Fenske. What a fun, entertaining, interesting romcom with an emphasis on family.

Griffin was blindsided when his wife left him and his amazing daughter behind to pursue her Hollywood career. He's looking for a fresh start when he joins Juniper Ridge as their master brewer. From the minute he meets Mari, he's simply enchanted with her.

Mari is also looking for a fresh start, and following her Hollywood family on their journey to create a TV show about new beginnings seems like the best path forward for her. She does not count on falling for the burly brewer with a serious distrust of therapists, but she can't stay away from him, either.

Tawna Fenske has written Griffin and Mari with such a truly organic and believable connection, and she takes advantage of the extended cast of characters to really give us even more glimpses into their personalities. Griffin is a great dad, and Mari seems like a natural compliment to him in really all areas of his life. They really open up to each other in a way that seems believable and just right.

Narrated by Erin Mallon and Jason Clarke, the audio of Let It Show really enhances the story that Tawna Fenske created. Erin brings both strength and vulnerability to Mari. Jason brings a gruffness, humility and devotion that suits Griffin's single dad character perfectly.

Unexpected Love Story

The performance was well done.
Standalone with no cliffhangers.
Griffin is a brewer trying to start over with his daughter, so doing reality TV sounded like a good idea. Ha! Everything is fine except he has the hots for the shrink on staff, oh and he hates shrinks cause he blames one for ending his marriage.
Mari is the odd one out in a very outgoing family. She has never felt like she fit until she meets Griffin and his fun loving daughter. Only there are things he can't know that could destroy what they are building.
Love this story it flowed well with emotion and truths.
I volunteered to listen and give an honest review of this audiobook. I think you'll enjoy it.

Let It Show

I am really enjoying this author and this series.
Mari and Griff will grab at your heart strings.
I like that it isn’t conventional and I like that they meet because of a Reality TV show it's fun and interesting.
Griff is still really hurt about his ex wife leaving their marriage the way she did. He has full custody of Sophie who adds the perfect amount of sass and parental worry into the book that you just soak it all in.
Mari is the middle child and sometimes feels like her two sisters forget she is around. But when it counts and matters they all come together.
Mari and Griff have this connection but Mari figures something out that could make her getting close with Griff a moot point.
The romance will knock you off your feet. It is swoony and catching and downright magical.
The narration is perfect for this book. I am a huge fan of Erin and of Jason so more please!

Love when you least expect it.

We are taken back to Juniper Ridge where the Judson siblings are getting their reality TV show up and going. When Mari Judson who is the middle sibling and the PHD first meets Griffin Walsh she immediately has sparks but little does she know where those sparks will lead.

Griffin just wants a fresh start for him and his daughter Sophie. When they move to Juniper Ridge and he signs on to be filmed for this TV show he has no idea how his past will come back to haunt him and his daughter.

This is a well written story that pulls at the heart. We get a better understanding of the relationship of the Judson siblings and the interworking's of Juniper Ridge. I loved the bonus of Leonard the bird and Sophie's character. She was wise beyond her years. It is a love story but with more than that. It is a story of family and all the ins and outs that come with family. It shows how things aren't always perfect and that sometimes you have to work to have what you want even when's it's hard. Great story and I really enjoyed it.

Jason Clarke and Erin Mallon are perfect for Griffin and Mari. Jason has the right broody, gravely voice to bring Griffin to life and Erin is amazing as Mari. I loved listening to both of them from start to finish.

One of my fave listens so far this year!

Ok so now I really need to go back and read/listen to the first book in this series, but I didn't feel like it detracted from the story at all that I hadn't already. This was actually my first listen/read by Tawna Fenske and it certainly won’t be my last. I loved the concept for this story, it’s quirky and different and made for a very entertaining and enjoyable listen.
Mari is the psychologist at Juniper Ridge, and Griffin and his daughter Soph are community members. There is obvious chemistry between Mari and Griffin and it soon becomes too difficult to fight it, so they don’t. They are a really great match for each other and Mari is also really great with Soph. Unfortunately something comes to light from the past and throws a huge monkey wrench into their plans. Not to mention, this is a reality show as well, nothing can go wrong there, right? Anyway, this is such an awesome story with a super fun African Grey parrot who is LOL funny. The other supporting characters are great too. But that bird, he steals the show. Jason Clarke is amazing as Griffin and Erin Mallon rocks it as Mari. Two of my favorite narrators and now one of my fave listens of the year so far.

Loved it!

Mari Judson, once a a psychologist on the Shrink to the Stars reality TV show, spends her time getting to know the community members in the experimental community known as Juniper Ridge. She also does some production stuff behind the scenes. When her eye catches on Griffin Walsh, she tries very hard to tamp down those feelings. She shouldn't get involved with the single father of Sophie who is hired to run the brewery. As Griff shares things about himself, Mari realizes he's the ex-husband of one of her former clients, and can't help but think she somehow contributed to the end of that marriage. There's a lot to unpack with Griff's ex and her own quest for stardom on another show, Soph's feelings about her mother's abandonment, and Griff and Mari's fledgling relationship. It's a toss up to whether or not everything will implode. Rest assured, Griff and Mari do get their HEA, but just how they get there... well, you'll have to listen for yourself. There's also a parrot with questionable vocabulary which is sure to bring a laugh or three.

I received an advance copy of this audiobook at my request and voluntarily left this review.

Hilarious and heartfelt!

This was such a fun and quirky rom com and I loved everything about it. The series revolves around a community in Oregon that moves into an old cult compound and films it for an upcoming reality TV show. This book in the series focuses around Mari, the community psychiatrist Mari and the new craft beer brewer, Griffin and his daughter Sophie. It can be read as standalone but I will be reading the rest of the series as it comes out.

Mari and Griffin were so relatable as people and I loved that about this story. Mari, the middle sister, always felt unseen and left out. But she’s the glue to the sisters. Her being super smart allowed her to flourish and become successful. Griffin comes with his own baggage after divorcing his wife who left them to try and be an actress. Griffin finds it hard to trust anyone again and is worried about his daughter and how she’s coping. Griffin is a great Dad who put his daughter’s needs above his own. I think my favorite character was Lenard, the African Grey bird. He was hilarious and I want to get a bird as a pet now.

I listened to this story as an ALC from Piece of Cake Audiobooks. Jason Clarke and Erin Mallon were the perfect choices for this story. They brought the quirkiness and personalities of the characters out. I love any book that Jason and Erin narrate together, they compliment each other so well.

Loved it!

Let it Show is book two in the Juniper Ridge series. I loved book one, Show Time, and I loved this book just as much.

Let it Show is Mari Judson’s story. The sexy psychologist Dr. Mari Judson gets in over her head when she falls for the hot single dad Griffin, who is the communities brewmaster. These two connect even though Griffin can’t stand “shrinks” and blames his ex-wife’s shrink for the break up of his marriage. The harder she falls and the closer she gets to Griffin and his daughter, the more complicated things become. Get ready for one heck of a bomb to fall and brace yourself for the fallout.

This book is filled with laughs, sexy times, heartaches, love, family and forgiveness. Let it Show didn’t disappoint! Jason Clarke and Erin Mallon did an amazing job bringing this book to life!!

Let is show what a great love story is

Book 2 in the series but it can be read / listened to as a stand-alone. This story has a different storyline , nothing like book 1.
Hero is Griffin. Heroine is Mari

Griffin Is a single dad ( a daughter). After his divorce, he makes the move to Jupiter Ridge . Griffin Is a brewmaster, he’s usually a grumpy but he loves what he’s doing . One thing is turning him off , it’s the TV show .

Mari is a psychologist who takes this opportunity in Juniper Ridge , it’s 2 reasons , to see how this will affect her career and to help the community.

Both Mari and Griffin are attracted to each other , Grab it and see who makes the first move towards each other .

Both Erin Mallon and Jason Clarke performance was fantastic. They did justice to the stoy and the characters. The tone was right on

Sweet, Hilarious, and Heartwarming!

This is the second book in the Juniper Ridge Series. Mari and Griffin’s story is sweet, hilarious, and heartwarming, filled with secrets, and twists and turns. Mari, a psychologist, is smart and beautiful. Griffin, a divorced single Dad and a Master Brewer, is handsome, and caring. They complement each other. Sophie (Soph), Griffin’s teenage daughter is lovely. The supporting characters are great! I loved to see again the characters from the first book. The storyline is original, and refreshing. Jason Clarke and Erin Mallon did a fantastic job with the narration. They are perfect as Mari and Griffin. I enjoyed it. #PieceOfCakeAudiobooks

Great Characters

I love the concept of the book. Part reality show, part research in human behavior. I am not a fan of "reality tv" so I wasn't sure how I was going to like this story. Turns out I had nothing to worry about. I absolutely loved it. Mari and her family developed a truly fascinating reality show concept consisting of setting up a real community at a compound that once belonged to a cult.
Both Griffin and Mari are just really good people. Griffin is a great single-dad and makes his daughter his highest priority. I really liked the way this story included the normalization of therapy.
Narration was exactly what you would expect from absolute pros like Erin Mallon and Jason Clarke. I'm excited for the rest of this series.

Griffin and Mari!

Griffin and his daughter Sophie have moved to Juniper Ridge to give them the new beginning they need both personally and professionally. After the demise of his marriage, he doesn’t hold the health care professionals in high esteem and blames them for the decisions his wife made to not only abandon him but their daughter as well. He is drawn to Sophie in a way he doesn’t expect or want but it isn’t long before she captures not only his heart but his daughter’s as well.

Mari and her siblings have created a reality show around the people and happenings of Juniper Ridge. Between the secret she holds and their professional relationship she knows that she should be keeping her distance from Griffin. The feelings between them are too strong to be denied however secrets have a way of being exposed at the worst possible time and it could destroy everything.

Witty banter, hot chemistry and two characters who see each other clearer than they see themselves. The narrators manage to ensure that you share all the same feels that the characters do which makes this sweet and sexy story even better.

Sweet and funny with a twist

As with book 1 in the series, I was not immediately drawn into the story or the characters, and yet again it didn’t take me too long to fall under the spell that the author and the narrators (Jason Clarke and Erin Mallon) cast. Perfect. Mari Judson, show psychologist, and Griffin Walsh (yes I even love his name), single dad, and master brewer, find they have a super spark that, no matter how much they try to fight it, cannot be ignored. Not that is, until Mari realises it would be unethical for her to continue to see Griffin as more than just a friend. Add in a totally adorable 12 year old girl, and a completely cheeky and hilarious parrot and we have some super sweet laugh out loud moments throughout. The narration ensured that I was entertained throughout.

Love visiting Juniper Ridge

Juniper Ridge is an exciting place and am so happy to be visiting again in book 2 of the series. Newly moved in and the new Brew Master, Griffin is adjusting to his new life as a reality star. A single dad, he has done his best to make sure to shelter his teenage daughter from the limelight. He met Mari the psychiatrist, and there are embers just waiting to ignite. But there is a twist you won't see coming, and secrets kept that could destroy their budding love story. Tawna Fenske has an original theme for this series that just keeps the stories fresh and fun. This single dad romance has a flare for the unexpected and a bird that will just keep you laughing! Leonard definitely steals the show! I can't wait to see what Fenske has in store for us with her next installment of this story!

Jason Clarke and Erin Mallon shine with their narration of Griffin and Mari. These two seasoned narrators make the story sound like it's a movie in my mind. I love them together and truly enjoyed their performance.

A new to me author

I've got to say right off the bat, the background story to this humorous romcom takes a bit of getting used to.

A reality TV show, filmed in a former commune, where the successful 'cast' are comminuty members... All sounds a bit, well, unusual.

However, it's a fast paced story that quickly captivates the reader's interest and the unusuality of the setting is easily forgotten.

All the characters, whether main or supporting cast, have quirky qualities that make the reading experience more enjoyable.

There are many laugh out loud as well as OMG moments and the house pet is truly hysterical.

As a new to me author, Tawna Fenske has certainly piqued my interest and I'll be looking out for future releases

Love Grif & Mari

This audiobook book of Let it Show is soooo good. Jason Clarke & Erin Mallon are so great together as Mari and Griffin. They are fun & flirty. They absolutely nailed Grif & Mari.

Maury & Griffin are so perfect for each other. I love how they help each other move past their pasts & have some fun along the way. Lynyrd’s antics are so ridiculous & inappropriately funny. I love him🤣

Great Story & Narration🎧 Captivating & Delightful!

I enjoyed this book immensely, Tawna Fenske is a gifted author with a wonderful writing style and way with words. The story drew me right in, grabbing my attention and captivating it the entire book. I am loving the premise of the series, where siblings bring their own expertise to create a social experiment type reality show built in a former cult compound. I was able to jump in to the series with out feeling lost or like I missed something not having read or listened to the first book, which I plan to do soon since I loved this one so much. This book is Mari Judson and Griffin’s story, Mari Judson is a psychologist working with her siblings on the show, Griffin was hired to run Juniper Ridge’s brewery. After a failed marriage he wanted a fresh start and this was the perfect opportunity for him to do what he loves to do and get his feet back on the ground. His wife, Gabrielle, left him with their daughter, Sophie, to pursue a career in acting and is working on her reality show. Griffin and Mari clicked, I thought they were great together and for each other, plus the chemistry between them was electric. Griffin was awesome with his daughter who was smart beyond her years, I liked how Mari was with her and how well they got along. After Griffin and Mari’s relationship moves to the next level a bomb is dropped which puts Mari in a complicated situation. It turns out his wife was her former patient and she is unable to tell him without her permission. Problem is she is hard to reach and when she does finally hear from her she turns out to be a real piece of work. I loved how everything plays out in this book, the story is cleverly plotted with the perfect balance of drama, humor, angst, heartfelt and emotional moments and some hot romance. Tawna Fenske, thank you for this wonderful story, I enjoyed every minute of it. Loved the bird too!

🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Jason Clark and Erin Mallon are awesome portraying the characters, giving each their own voice and personality. Jason Clark played Griffin’s role with perfection, sounding just as I pictured him to sound, Erin Mallon did the same for Mari. Both were great playing the secondary characters, taking each role and making it their own. They set the perfect tone for the story, handled the dialogue with ease and landed the humor flawlessly. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they captured all of the characters emotions and projected them into their performance. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another awesome listen🎧
